Out of interest why are people impressed with liverpools plans and their signings so far? Not saying im not but what are your thoughts about it

I think that Rogers is steadily righting the ship up at the bin dippers. Sturridge was IMO a good buy and Rogers appears to be lining up a good young side but i think they are light years behind us. Time will tell but if they end up losing Jaws then they will need someone to help score goals alongside Sturridge.

Just asked if you didn't like it. No need to wet yourself.

I'd highly recommend that you review last seasons DVD highlights to see where we shit out. Three of the reasons lie in your post that appear to suggest the opposite.

Coutinho, Sturridge and Aspas forming their main goal-scoring 3 could be pretty decent. Coutinho acclimated to the EPL quickly but he won't have novelty on his side this season. Sturridge, the same can be said. I'm curious to see what he could do in a week-in-and-out starting role. As for Aspas, he's going to take time but he's also a very creative player but one that can also score.

If they add Mkhitaryan in behind them that's a very fluid and very creative front 4. The only problem I see with it is Sturridge's propensity to be a selfish asshat. If he can learn to take a backseat when the time is right, that front 4 could put up lots of goals.

I do like what they've done and still think they need to really bolster their defense and also their midfield (Gerard and Lucas just isn't enough) but they are going in the right direction.

I see SC is taking something literally again. We read a piece if info and take it at face instead of stopping and thinking about it for a minute. We have no idea about the context of what was said. 'Holtby is a bastard to the Youth players'.......It might have just been a figure of speech, meaning he is uncompromising on the pitch. For all we know he may give the Youth players his match shirts, spend time advising them or giving them his match shirts or something.

He might be uncompromising because that's how he was taught. Nothing is free, it's hard playing against a top player and you shouldn't expect any favours when competing. You're going to get kicked, knocked and have your scrotum twisted. Learn it and learn it early. He might actually be a bastard. It could be anything, it could be something and it could be nothing.

As with all ITK, articles and rumours, there's a certain amount of reading between the lines and whiffiness that should be applied. There's angles and we just don't knows that are there but are ignored and it's forgotten that what we're getting is sometimes 3rd, 4th or even 39th hand information and that shit gets twisted.

I'm not even sure why it surprises me any more. An open mind should be applied to almost everything we read, with a sprinkling of who gives a fuck for dessert, or, to use a hairy phrase, taken with a pinch of salt.

Onions.

Look just because a player doesn't meet your expectations doesn't mean you should slag them off (maybe Ade deserves a bit of slagging off because he gave no effort). I don't see why people hate our own players. They might not be Messi but they wear the Spurs shirt and deserve our support not boo's.

Personally i dont remember people booing him much before he threw and disrespected the shirt! Thats why people booed him! I for one dont think holtby would throw the shirt in a tantrum if he was subbed. So I cant see him going the same route as Ghaly!

Selective memory is awesome when you benefit from it

From day report

"The former Ahli midfielder was at the center of an ugly scene at White Hart Lane during Tottenham's Premiership match against Blackburn Rovers. He was introduced in the 29th minute, replacing injured Steed Malbranque, but was ironically booed by his own fans whenever he touched the ball. This was mainly due to Ghaly's passing of the ball that resulted in the player being replaced on the hour mark, making way for striker Keane. However, Martin Jol's decision was not welcomed by the 25-year-old as he threw away his Spurs shirt and went straight into the tunnel amid heavy jeers from the home crowd"

Told you the other day Liverpool would be doing some good business. Not spent bucks but doing well and have bigger plans.

No just names you have heard of already in Brazil I'm only expecting one. But all the names you've heard have been scouted. Would love Bernard but don't see it happening.
the problem with changing your team so much is that it will take a long time to bed them in and that can put you in or around the relegation zone and the immense pressure that comes with that.

Also it's not the quantity you get but the quality. look at Newcastle in Jan, everyone thought they did some good business, but for whatever reason they didn't fit/settle.

Paulinho will very likely improve us. Villa undoubtedly so.

LOL I read the Holtby info and I don't know what the fuss is about, he just a competitive guy who wants to win. I'd be surprise if the Ade info is true though.

Same, I like that kind of attitude and it SHOULD encourage the younger players to be better or faster or more competitive.. as long as he picks them up afterwards it can be seen as a positive. The weaker players won't make it in the long-run if they can't handle a bit of competition.
