Hello after a long break :) Hope everybody is doing ok. 50 GBP donated, will donate another 50 if we sign Martial and De Light :D:D:D.

Cheers

would rather spend most of the budget on a blockbuster CM than another might be great, might not wide man. Didn't want Bale either due to injury record.

Don't buy this Wanyama/Dier pretending to be Fernandinho then Eriksen and Alli pretending to be KDB/David Sylva suggestion in a new formation that supports the idea of spunking north of £50m on Martial.

Don't want wholesale changes either.

If we can't get a top CM in let the Beast play out his last year, and build up to getting one next summer...

I hope we've set a deadline with Utd regarding martial - I fear that they might string us along only to pull the plug at the last minute

Think we might be confusing price with quality though. A player may not cost that much but still be quality, numerous factors can effect the price.

there's usually a correlation, but of course I understand your point. I don't think Martial would add more to us than Toby would to Man U. I hope we don't do either deal. I'd actually rather Zaha than Martial, but we haven't had any whispers on the former for a while so I'd better leave it there.

Thanks Trix , im more annoyed at the fact he has no interest in us, it really seems he does not himself have any affinity to the club, even a soft spot
It hurts. Not like my favourite striker. That laid down his differences with the then Chairman, jumped into his VW, and hot legged it across to save Spurs at Selhurst (Wimbledon). That was love and I loved him back. What a player.

I think you're being a bit presumptuous. Just because he, apparently, wants to stay at RM, it does not mean that he has no affinity to Spurs.

Long shot, short shot, cardboard box: kid’s been told since his kit came from Pampers that he was the best in the world. He’s at the biggest club in the world being paid megabucks... not gonna entertain coming back to us if that dream is still alive.
The romantic in me still sees a possibility but the ITK says no go. Shame.
Let’s see what happens as the window unfolds. If he was in a position where Real weren’t going to play him, I’m sure other contingencies might emerge.

How can you be annoyed at that fact though? The guy earns a ridiculous amount of money at Madrid, has won 12 titles there including 3 Champions Leagues and a league title and can most likely play in any team in the world if they pay the required transfer fee. Can you really blame him if he doesn't want to come back?

Quite frankly, I'd be shocked if he did come back. Delighted, but shocked. And that's not even just due to what I think he'd want, but due to everything that would be required for such a transfer.

Love? That was guilt after using a technicality in his two-year contract to fuck off after a year as soon as Bayern showed an interest.

Seem to remember him fucking off as soon as byern gave him a call. Reason being that spurs weren't in europe. Never mind the fact we were banned from europe when he joined.

Not blaming him. That's football he did the best deal he could get.

I just post what I hear, if you want to add lots of made up bullshit on to the end of that for whatever reason, there is not much I can do about that.
