That’s assuming they are the only 2 options. Nothing the ITK have said rules out Eriksen going and Dybala not coming.

Just going from past experiences..we’ve been there and done that so many times before.
Who’s to say ITK’s are not drip fed what us fans want to hear knowing the info will be passed on. I’m sure ITK’s pass on in good faith but what if the info is bullshit!
Not ITK bashing as I’ve took their word as gospel for a long time...especially ‘our’ ITK’s...Herc, Trix and JJ!

As I see it, ITK has suggested:

- GLC very likely
- Eriksen considering a contract, but nothing clear
- Dybala considered but difficult

It sort of takes you to a ‘two from three’ scenario as plausible. Lots of risk and unknowns, sure, but that’s what I’d logically say we’re gunning for and at a stretch the mood music from the ITK supports it.

What we’ll end up with is anyone’s guess. I can’t see us with less than one, not can I see us with three.

ali z on dybala: Made some enquiries about this ( coz I want the player) anyway our PR team have leaked this info, no idea why... muted that it could be a smokescreen or the player may be interested and we are trying to force price down but it's rather odd to say the least, personally it looks like we deflecting to me but why , I have no clue.
As it stands I expect Sess last week of window and Le celso in plus quiet a few out.

May literally be as simple as what you see is what you get. PR team leaked it in support of Levy declaring that we are in a new era of Spurs spending. Here is an example.

It’s like Jacob Rees Mogg becoming an ITK and only providing info if we doff our cap and grammar up appropriately.

Just to be a legal twat (not the opposite of an illegal twat, just a twat from a legal perspective) ... you can sign a document and not “complete” it.

So it could be the case that Eriksen is happy with the terms we have offered should both parties agree that’s what is going to happen.

Who knows.

I can't imagine we would leak our interest in Dybala if we didn't genuinely want him. It makes no sense to use him to try and get Betis to budge on Lo Celso. You wouldn't use a bigger name because that would just lead to a lot of disappointed fans. You would use someone of similar stature and value as Lo Celso if you wanted to do that.

Personally I think we would prefer Dybala if he's likely to accept less wages than Eriksen. If reports of Eriksen demanding close to 200k a week are true and Dybala is on 120k at Juve it's possible we could pay him nearer 150k. It just seems it's in our hands, if we get Dybala then we sell Eriksen but if not we have a new contract ready for Eriksen.
