He's a man that likes to honour contracts. If he's signing a new deal he must be very happy here which is in contrast to some of the recent media reports after his end of season comments.

Thanks Hercs. Poch seems to be a man of honour. I was never phased by his recent comments or took it as a threat to walk away. Based on his book he has a very good working relationship with the club. He's always come across as part of the club as opposed to an employee. So I've never bought the bs line that his comments was sending a coded message to DL and as a result im not concerned whether he would sign a new deal or not.

All of the info, coming from those who are ITK, are positive. We are moving into a new stadium, hopefully sooner rather than later, and we know, again from ITK, in January, that Dear Leader wants to make a landmark signing. I really do have a feeling that this summer will be the one that will take us to the next level, and it's not just the signings, it the stadium as well. It's the synergy, the combination of everything that's happening with our club. I just feel so happy and positive just now, I could explode.

Hopefully I won't, 'cause the missus will have to clear up the mess!

Agreed but I love to hate the coaster and will buy a ticket every year. Last we were going to get a gamechanger then maybe not a gamechanger but pace. We got Llorente. Lols happen and they're all part of the ITK fun.

The best part of hercs news is that poch is happy with us!!!! Of course we need to add palayers but having him happy and staying means many of key existing our players will be staying.

Southampton needs to be a warning to us. Their chairman brought Poch to the club with a vision for how the club would move forward. When the board wouldn't support that vision both the chairman and Poch eventually left the club - don't forget that within two months of Poch leaving they'd sold Shaw, Lallana, Lambert, Lovren and Chambers. He knew it was coming. Hopefully Levy will follow through with any promises that he makes in regards to the new deal otherwise we could be in a similar position in a season or two.

Love the positivity, but I'm not sure that we'll get a landmark signing. We might get several expensive deals, but I'm not sure any of them will be a mega-signing as such, although that's quite a subjective thing to judge anyway. Would De Ligt be a landmark deal? World class potential, but only a teenager who might take a few months to adjust to the premier league.
