Don’t wanna be annoying but for some reason the Ndombele thread never comes up? Is there some weird glitch

^ill double check but I don’t think I have anyone on ignore.

It’s weird as I can see it from the main page if it’s the most recent post in “transfer rumours” but I can never see it on the “transfer rumours” page.

It’s because you have the ‘what will happen’ rather than the ‘what I hope will happen’ setting on.

Update from Ali Z COYS:

Just a small update, not all of the info is recent but posting what I know as out of the country for at least 3 weeks.

Poch wants a minimum of 4 in, 6 if Eriksen and Toby go. Names I know we really keen on are Ndombele who we have tried for before, Sessegnon and Wan Bissaka, my info first 2 looks doable. I don't know of any others we are keen on, don't mean we are not btw.

Toby likely to go this summer has no interest in the deal offered £165k including bonuses pw, may run down his deal. Erkisen will go to Spain if the price we want is agreed if he doesn't every chance a deal can be agreed. Trippier has plenty of suitors, don't be surprised if he is one of Ole's new guard.

We have a list of players we want out and a list that we will sell for the right price told to expect a decent net spend as Levy know this summer he has to deliver. That's all I got.

Thank Topper. Are you going to put this in the RO?

It's a shame that for Toby it really is all about money. There aren't many clubs which are a step up from Spurs from a sporting project perspective. It's his last big contract, but I just can't imagine a club paying him 200k + a week when he is 30 years old.

Wouldn’t be against Toby running down his contract, gives Sanchez and foyth another season, however not my £25m that would be going down the drain

Interesting - feels about right. So on that basis I'd guess

Ndombele - 65m, hard but possible
Sessegnon - 30m, very possible
AWB - 50m, hard but possible
Lo Celso - 60m, possible
Toby replacement - 25m in?, very possible
Long term buys - e.g. Clarke, 20m, very possible

So: that's about £250m...yikes. Outgoing could include any of

Eriksen - 70m?
Toby - 25m
Onomah - 5m
Trippier - 25m
Aurier - 15m
Wanyama - 10m
Lamela - 20m
GKN - 5m
Jannsen - 10m
Total: 185m

Likelihood of all the outgoings? Pretty slim I'd say - it's Champ Manager stuff. You could easily see us getting 100m. Let's say 125 as a reasonable incoming guess.

So we'd need to fund a net spend of c. 125m. Can't see that happening. We could limit the incomings - no Toby replacement, no Clarke etc., which would save us 40m or so. And we might get lucky with outgoings, but it's going to be a very hard summer to do what we'd like/need to IMO

Depends what kind of budget we have available to us. Revenue has increased so much we probably have a significant headroom for wages and fee installments.

Logic would dictate Lo Celso is a likely Eriksen replacement, but what an addition he would be if Eriksen stayed!

Assuming the 4 are:-

Ndombele
Sessegnon
Wan-Bissaka
Lo Celso

That is the kind of window that takes you to the next level, even if you lose Eriksen.

To hear Ali say he hears Ndombele is likely is pretty damn exciting. He'd transform our midfield!
