Interestingly our own Danny Blanchflower was also scheduled to appear on "This Is Your Life". He famously turned down the invitation stating, on air to host Eomonn Andrews, "I consider this programme to be an invasion of privacy" and "Nobody is going to press gang me into anything". He was the first person to turn down the honor.
