Dragon didn't actually say that. He said mainly loans and no big purchases, but that doesn't mean that we won't buy anyone. There could be some good value out there.

Yeah, that's my interpretation. We won't turn down a good deal if it's a permanent (younger talent/squad players). Loans possibly for bigger acquisitions with a view to purchase, if possible, when things hopefully stabilize.

I used to wonder at the thought process people went through before posting in this thread. And then one day I realised there actually isn't one. No thought, no common sense, no nothing.

People just get something into the peanut residing in their noggin and bang it down, then, when Albert has finishing working his way up their arse, they go to the help forum and start a thread crying about losing their access and sometimes even do it with more 'passion' on FTL.

Ah well..........Gives us a good laugh I suppose :woot:

Nothing groundbreaking. Just clarifying few things transfer spend deals. Payments will be spread over duration of contracts. From what I heard couple weeks back, Jose was not overly sold on Aaron’s, mainly to do with his lack of height. Yes there is very obvious interest going back many months. There is zero chance we would be paying Norwich even the fee we paid for Sess. The spammers RB kid, there is/was interest, but from what I last heard, wasn’t a certainty, with many options being looked at.

As I said few months back, transfers is going to be very interesting with main loan option deals wherever possible. Any transfers we bring in with say 20m plus, will be spread over duration of contracts. Jose wants to look at Austin in pre-season before decisions are made on Vorm replacement.

The Jose-Aarons news hasn't changed much over the past months. There was that Gilly chap in the Aarons thread saying it had been all agreed, so interesting to see how things shape up there, be it Jose changing his mind or being forced into it.

It would be nice to have GK #3 be a HG option.

The fact we are planning on being as creative as possible with deals suggests to me we are anticipating being quite busy. We definitely need to freshen up the squad in multiple areas and can't afford to try and get away with the bare minimum.

So our transfer activities will be mostly loan deals with options to buy at the end ? Don’t we have a limit on loans as technically Gedson and Lo Celso are still on loan

It’s definitely not all agreed and that’s from the player himself.
