Does make you wonder if there is more to meets eye on this one, maybe at the very top level between Levy/Lewis and Barnett and there is not much info being trickled down. There have been links for the best part of a year now and the timing of it all with the new stadium move may not be coincidental.

I genuinely believe that Levy wants to open the stadium with a bang. Lots of publicity to show the club are going places and a force to be reckoned with. I don't see any other player being realistic to fit into that criteria bar Bale nor do I see any realistic players having the same factor as Bale. I think he is Levy's one and only shot of getting that wow player that would effect all the different type of minds in the football, sponsor and sport worlds.

ali z: RE Bale could still happen, a lot depends on next RM manager and Ronaldo, fee would not be anywhere near the £200m reported in fact less than half, Bale would I am led to believe accept similar wages to Kane, he wants to be happy and be playing, if you ask me we have 10% chance, my info says higher but i refuse to believe it really could happen.

ali z: Hate saying this as we have been led down this path before but financially we are playing a different game, we will spend net substantially , yes we will lose some players we might rather keep but our incomings should be of the same or higher quality. Plan is for it to be more phased and little done at the last minute but we been here before like we both say.
