Leandro Damiao is not signing for us, that ship has sailed. There's more chance of Bale leaving than Leandro joining, let's move on even if the press won't.

Shouldn't he be saying this to Scolari?

Surely, it could be argued that Scolari already selects him for the very reason that he is exactly what Ronaldinho suggests he is? I can't imagine he'd be selected for the Brazil squad if he wasn't any good?

I disagree slightly as Vermaelan would come in as a second choice LCB, I heard Adams speaking about Vermaelan years ago and he said he felt he was always a better LB than a CB

I think Vertonghen is a better Centre back and a better Left Back

This is from Wikipedia, and I'm not joking ...

Damiao has recently agreed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur which will see him join on July 1st 2013. Damiao has since had a change of heart and will be joining non-league Wrexham. This fee will be in the region of £100,000 to £110,000, and he will sign a new 4 year deal.

I'd converted from poster to observer for the last couple of years, but I'd had enough of the Leandro talk! I'm not sure the ITK forum has the same value it used to, so wasn't going to post this in there. But yes, unless DL is taking the piss out of those close to him, Spurs will not be doing deals that involve either of those players this transfer window. There's lots on our plate though!

This is about as accurate as the reports saying he's Spurs bound!

Cheers for the response, I've always been more of an observer. I like to watch others make fools of themselves rather than make a fool of myself. Your input is more valuable than mine though and always appreciated.

As for Leandro, I'm not really too bothered either way. I like the thought of having a Brazilian number 9, but if i'm totally honest I don't really know if he is any good or not.

So it all seems to tie in then, we have walked away from the Damiao deal.

I went and put score down that the deal would happen as well.

Hello! Would you mind me asking who is the other in the either?
I appear to have missed the context... thanks
