Well city agreed a swap deal with Inter for Eto'o, but Inter changed their mind and Eto'o stayed

Maybe now they will just try to sign Eto'o

Fuck off Tevez, you're not having my understanding. If you'd kept it in your trousers, the wife wouldn't have fucked off and took the kids. Instead of taking the responsibility like a man should, you've taken it out on City, because you could. You're a child not a man. Too many of your ilk in the world and I've no time for any of them. If you fuck up, man up.

I love it how he thinks he can just say he wants to leave and then he can. City are probably the only club in the world who could legitimately afford to let him rot on the bench. In fact if he does what he says and refuses to come back to training and to City then they could deduct his wages until he returns.

The guy is an idiot, however this is what you get when your club becomes only about money, players like this. Ferggie saw it coming and let him go despite him being one of their better players that season.

TBH I disagree. I think this is a rare example of a footballer being genuine and honest about needing to move for his family. He's been in this country almost 5 years and still doesn't speak a word of English, his wife hates it, and he has to dance to her tune if he doesn't want to lose the kids and pay her 50% of his earning from now until forever due to his philandering.

Sometimes life is bigger than football, and any decent dad will do anything to be close to their kids. Of course he won't hungry wherever he goes either, but he unlikely to get a better contract than he has a Citeh...

I'd agree with you if he wasn't still asking for £200k per week wages.

He doesn't speak english because he is lazy and his wife doesn't like him being outside of Argentina because he cheats on her and because he's done nothing to help her and her family settle.

If he was genuine about wanting to be with his family he wouldn't have signed for City, he would have moved back home. If he is serious now he could work out a deal if he wanted, but he has to decide if he prefers money or his family as he can't have the best of both worlds.

How long does Tevez have left on his contract? Can he not buy it out, if he really wanted to leave?

I agree with this, the guy knew all about Manchester when he signed for City. Did he not also get a wage increase at some point in the last year? HE was happy to sign originally for the money and now he's bored of it he wants out. This kind of thing really annoys me with the modern day player I have to say, be it at City, Arsenal, us or whoever.

Even though City can afford to let him go on the cheap I hope they don't and they hold him too his contract, or deduct his wages and hold his registration so he can't play for anyone else if he refuses to comeback.
