I think it’ll be:

————Gazzaniga
—Tanganga—Toby—Sanchez
Aurier—Winks—Eriksen—Sessegnon
——Dele——Moura——Son

Subs: Vorm, Jan, Rose, Dier, Skipp, Lamela, Lo Celso

Gazza

Tanganga Toby Sanchez Sess

Lo Celso Winks Ndombele

Lucas Son Dele

Subs : Vorm, Aurier, Dier, Skipp, Eriksen Lamela, Parrott

This line up is more in hope than expectation. I fully expect Aurier, Dier, Jan and Eriksen to start and I thinks it’s highly doubtful Lamela is ok to start after tonight’s exertions. No idea what Ndombele’s fitness status is but fingers crossed he is good to go and can get a run of games

.....................Gazza
Tanganga Toby Sanchez Sess
.....................Winks
Lo Celso Dele Lamela Son
....................Moura

Dier and Eriksen can be left out. Praying Aurier not in the starting side either. As many people have said our major problem this season, too many players lacking match stamina, wont have gone away overnight. NDombele seems to have 'big' problems according to Mourinho, probably not just physical. As ever the timing of the changes...probably on the hour, will be key

The longer Skipp doesn't get picked the better player he becomes. Sling the fucker in now before he becomes Ronaldo :D

Seeing as both Pochettino and now Mourinho have seen him at close quarters I'm going to take a massively wild punt and suggest that they think he's not quite ready yet. It's possible they even think he's not good enough. Unless he's been carrying some sort of niggling injury or has some unknown off field issue or another, that seems the likeliest scenario to me.

Anyway, picking him now would be like feeding a christian to the lions because that's the atmosphere on here these days, even the most trivial things get criticised, first one person picks on something, then another, pretty soon it's become a 'thing'. I'll give you an example. Dele makes a few gestures and points and he's too big for his boots, he's this, he's that. Tanganga did it a couple of times last night but nobody says a word because he's the future, people love him, he's the next big thing. The difference? He played well. Play poorly and point/gesticulate and he'll quickly become a big headed bastard because if you don't play well, people start looking for every and any thing they can pick on. The agenda express starts rolling. The 'real' things to complain about aren't enough on here any more and that's baffling because god knows, there are enough of them.

It's probably better for Skipp that he doesn't get picked because three games in he'd be in the queue for a good old fashioned SC ****ing off. God knows what'd happen if he pointed during a game.

I think we’ll play 3 x CBs due to Watford’s physical game. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Tanga as a RWB and Dier alongside Toby and Sanchez, Deeney will know he can’t bully him. In CM I just pray to god we don’t go with the Eriksen / Winks axis. Not sure what else we have though. Dele and Son were definitely rested last night so will start.

Gazza

Tanganga Toby Sanchez

Aurier Eriksen Dier Sess

Dele

Son Lucas

Seems the most likely. Not what I would choose personally but it’s probably what Jose will pick.

Lets hope Skipp isnt on here then. In all seriousness yeah he will have shit thrown his way on here, we've seen as much with Sessegnon. For me I'm fully aware that these young players are going to have a lot of bad games, which is why we need to try and find the positives in the situation we are in and that positive for me is that the 2nd half of this league season is a great length of time to try and prepare for next season.

Now I dont want to throw the lambs to the slaughter and chuck all the youth in at one go. But if we take it one base at a time, get our footing and go from there. I look at the fullback situation and its one of our biggest problems and Jose is already taking the risk of giving Tanganga and Sess the opportunity to develop. Once they're bedded in or he decides differently then I'd like to see Skipp given the opportunity to develop within the team.

If we sign new midfielders then I'd say Skipp should go out on loan and develop. However if we don't and the options are Dier, Wanyama or Skipp for a dm role then I'm looking at it as, which player will better serve our future because none of the optioms short term will be the answer but if we're able to give Skipp a few months instead of hoping he lands on his feet with aplomb when we're hoping compete again that'd be fantastic.

Of course we've heard ndombele might be used at the base also but I'm just trying to say I'd be willing to take on a few poor performances from players developing if the end goal is to try and bed them in for the long term because our league season looks unlikely to be yield more success than simply preparing for the next one.

Lo Celso was blowing 30 minutes in and blown out 47 minutes in.

That's the reality.

All I'm saying is that until that changes Eriksen plays until he leaves. people should stop fucking moaning about it and deal with reality not fantasy - there's a reason we looked so good against Liverpool last 30 minutes because Lo Celso and Lamela had 30 minutes of top effort to put in. Mourinho said it himself ffs.

We all WANT Lamela and LoCelso and Ndombele to start every game. It's not going tohappen until its aerobically possible.

They have whole fucking football science departments working this shit out - and they keep telling us. So it's just annoying when people expect something different that is, currently, not possible.
The more i watch us play, the more ive realised that the squad refresh/upgrade will take at least 2 years.

It does not need to take two years to upgrade as with an owner willing to splash the cash you could do it this window .
5 players at say an average £40mill =£200 mill we have no problem with FFP and if the club had the will Rose Eriksen Dier Aurier KWP could be sold on the cheap obviously with Danny boy none of this is going to happen .
Any outgoings are going to be sold only at Levy s valuation .
I know all these things are not going to happen but I am just trying to outline that where there is a will there is a way.
I can only dream .

I think it’ll be:

————Gazzaniga
—Tanganga—Toby—Sanchez
Aurier—Winks—Eriksen—Sessegnon
——Dele——Moura——Son

Subs: Vorm, Jan, Rose, Dier, Skipp, Lamela, Lo Celso
yep - and we will get over-run before we bring 'GioCoco' on to save the day.
Luckily i will be doing something more fun while we're playing!

Just checked form guide they're on some run since Pearson came in fs, this is going to be very hard. Anyone think Gedson will make the bench?

Dele will start as will Dier. Saying that id like to see

Vorm(I know, but surely better than Gazza)

Tanganga
Sanchez
Toby
Sess

Skipp
Ndombele(if fit) winks if not

Lamela
Lo Celso
Son

Lucas.
I’d rather Brandon Austin or Alfie Whiteman than either of them. Surely one of them has to be able to stop low shots...

Physical game coming up. We sure Tanganga is up for this? Battle against Troy Deeney and Doucouré ain't gonna be easy. It's now that we separate the men from the mice :)
