Don't know what the team will be but I hope the following two conditions are met:

1) Son, Deki, and Big Dom are rested for the whole game.

2) Yang gets decent minutes.

🎙️| Postecoglou on why he made this decision:

“The Czech league shut down in the middle of December and he hadn’t played a competitive game in three weeks and he felt pretty rusty so it’s a good opportunity for us to get some more game time into him.
He feels like he needs to play. He felt a bit rusty and it makes sense to give him another game and get him back in the group playing football. His last game was December 15/16 and like any player when you play you can get into the groove a bit quicker so another opportunity for us.”

Beware of the long throws and the plastic pitch although i'm sure they have a bit more than that about them. I never like us playing non league teams because of the unthinkable.

I think the pitch will actually be to our advantage.

Ball rolls smoothly on artificial surfaces, good to ping passes at pace. It's the grass pitches that are worn out, muddied and have the ball holding up in the pitch with uneven bounce that are potential banana skins. Because modern Premier League players aren't used to that. Even academy kids will have grown up used to state of the art facilities.

Just watched the training video and the only players who appeared in that, who played against Liverpool were Gray, Kinsky and Johnson.

With that in mind I think the team will be:

Kinsky

Spence or Porro
Gray
Dorrington
Reguilon

Sarr
Olusesi
Maddison

Johnson
Werner
Lankshear

With both Moore and Yang to see minutes and potentially Richarlison later in the game to get some minutes.

If he was rusty against Liverpool, I'm really looking forward to the shiny KInsky, de rust version!

Having watched us lose to Young Boys in Berne on their plastic pitch, I disagree completely. That day, the Spurs players looked like they were on ice-skates We ere 3-0down to a pretty average team until a couple of late goals. We were also pretty poor when we played on a plastic pitch in Tromso and I doubt if the opposition were much better than Tamworth. The pitch will be a great leveller.

Ideally what I want is for one their players to get sent off for a dangerous challenge trying to rough us up in the first ten minutes, we go 3 or 4 up and take off all the players who’ll play versus Arsenal midweek. And they go to extra time against United.

please no Richy, even for a few minutes, the last thing he needs is his first game back on an icy artificial pitch....

Think Ange said he would be a few weeks in training before in the match day squad, so hopefully he sticks to that!
