Think I'd start Austin for this. We need him ready and motivated for the Europa games unless we are planning on giving those to Forster.

Fully rest Gray, Kulu, Solanke, Son and bring in Dorrington and Lankshear. I'd start with Biss, Lucas and Maddison in midfield. I'd be tempted to rest Spence and stick Reggie in too.

Kinsky
Spence Drag Gray Reg
Sarr Bergvall Madders
Johnson Son Werner
Son need a rest, not to mention that he's pretty shit up top.
If Richy still isn't fit, which I doubt he will be, it's got to be Lankshear up top for me.

I don't really want to see Reggie play but I suppose we've got no choice there.

Sonny can come off as soon as we look safe, which we should with that team.
Why would you give debuts in an FA cup tie?
Or young inexperienced players.
Lankshear for sure if we get 2 up.

I'd give debuts because we're playing Tamworth.
Son needs a proper rest, not another game on a shitty pitch.
Plus, he's rubbish as a striker and it's not like Tamworth will be playing a high line for his pace to break into, they'll sit deep and that nullifies any threat he has.

Personally, I'd rather give Lankshear a chance and bring on Solanke if we need to.
We're not spoilt for options at the moment but if Lankshear is in the squad as a striker, we may as well give him a crack.

They beat 4th placed League one Huddersfield on this artificial pitch of theirs in Rd1, on the other hand, they’re mid table in the national league and we should be able to ping it around nicely on a 4G pitch so it hoping we put them to the sword fairly easily.

Ofc it’s the FA Cup so anything can happen but with a fairly strong line-up we should be able to tonk this lot.

Austin
Spence, Dragusin, Dorrington, Reguilón
Sarr, Gray
Yang, Maddison (c), Werner
Lankshear

subs.
Kinsky, Hardy, Porro, Bissouma, Olusesi, Bergvall, Moore, Johnson, Solanke

Full rest for Kulusevski and Son.
Hopefully just Hardy, Olusesi and Moore as subs.
Richarlison in stead of Solanke if he's ready.
I don’t think thay will be the team.

Im pretty sure Kinsky will start again and highly doubt Yang will start, also extremely unlikely Richy will play never mind start on an artificial pitch.

I don't usually predict line-ups but fuck it, I'm bored tonight!

Kinsky.
Spence, Dragusin, Dorrington, Reggie.
Sarr, Bergvall, Madders.
Johnson, Lankshear, Timo.

We really need to rest Solanke, Son, Gray and Porro and the above should be more than capable of getting a result.

I want to see Kinsky start again and see how he does in bad ground conditions and against team like Tamworth , which might try some set pieces or long throws.

I want us to completely give a week off for Son & Kulu (not even in bench)

My XI :

Kinksy
Spence Dragusin Dorrington Reguillon
Sarr Gray Maddison
MikeyMoore Lankshear Werner

Bring on Olusesi to try him in his midfield role after 70min.

ange was asked about dorrington today and it didn't really sound like he considers him an option. he didn't comment on lankshear when asked about him either which may or may not mean anything but he seemed keen to distinguish mikey from those two saying that having him back gives us more options.

Ah, I did see that were looking for a loan for Dorrington, didn't catch that though.
I guess it'll be Gray again at CB then, which isn't a bad thing but I wouldn't mind giving him a rest because he's played a lot recently.
(I also wouldn't mind seeing him in midfield either).

I wouldn't be against Mikey starting instead of Timo but it depends on his fitness.

Don't know who we'll play up top though, can't be Solanke again, surely?

Would we use 3G pitches at our training ground??
Most professional football clubs have at least one indoor 3G/4G football pitch. Ipswich and Norwich both had indoor domed 4G’s when I was there as a teenager and Cambridge’s academy also often trained on artificial surfaces too. I feel like people make a big fuss over them when they really aren’t that bad at all. I always felt like if you’re a technically sound player they actually played to your advantage as there are very few unpredictable bounces or rolls of the ball. You can just focus on dribbling at pace and pinging the ball around.

Would Tyrese Hall be available? I do like the look of him, he has that Angel Gomes kind of style about him.
