Strong as possible, no Eriksen and no Rose. They need to be dropped completely and have it made clear to them they are no more than cover for injury this season. Hopefully that forces them to think about taking a January move.

The league is done. Hopefully we can shithouse our way through a few rounds and who knows?

Gazza

Vertonghen
Tanganga
Alderweireld

Aurier
Sessegnon

Skipp
Winks

Lo Celso
Lamela
Son

I would rest Sanchez for this game as he had a knock prior to Liverpool and I think he is our most important defender. I would also play Sonny to try and get him some confidence and hopefully bag a couple of goals.

Think Skipp deserves a game to see what he can do as every other CM in our squad has and none of them (bar Ndombele) has really taken their chance.

Parrot not ready to start this game.

and did you think tanganga was ready to face liverpool before yesterday?

how will you ever know if parrott's ready if you never give him the chance to show whether he is or not? middlesbrough would jump at the chance to take him on loan but he's not good enough to play against them? adam idah is a year older but behind parrott in the ireland pecking order and he put three past preston in the last round. mason greenwood is only a few months older and he's banging them in fairly regularly for utd. i don't understand what the fear of playing him is when we literally have no other actual strikers in the squad.

Yea fair points mate but if we play him and lose then we are out the cup, I’d argue much lower risk playing tanganga in a game we were almost certainly going to lose, but yea I’m all for giving him a chance, mabye Jose will, I’m sure he knows if he thinks he’s up for it or not.

Would be great to see Tanganga again but would imagine yesterday will have taken a lot out of him bear in mind he wont have played 90 minutes for a very long time.
Think we can assume Foyth, Wanyama and KWP will be nowhere near any matchday squads. So more by process of elimination I'd guess at:
Gazzaniga; Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Sessegnon; Dier, Skipp; Lo Celso, Lamela, Lucas; Son - Parrott on bench.

U23 play tomorrow so will get a better idea after seeing their team.

If Jose's press conference is anything to go by, only senior player who wont play is Toby, everyone else (that's fit) will be considered, and that includes Eriksen!
