I know the last pre-season game has literally only JUST finished, but this topic will no doubt be debated for the next week and may even be affected by international friendlies yet.

But, with pre-season out of the way and our players been put through their paces, what would your side be for the season opener next weekend?

What, Lennon doesn't even make the bench?

I think he needs a kick up the backside, Kranjcar can cover more positions from the bench and I'd put Lennon in fresh for the CL where he could have a bigger impact, a better start to the season and hope he could kick on from there.

I think Harry will have him on the bench though.

Now, despite being a big fan of the Ekotto-Bale partnership, Benoit(and Seb) are probably going to be jetting off to Cameroon or wherever they're playing, I'm not sure how ready they'd be to play Saturday morning, same with Giovani unfortunately. I'm not a great Crouch lover, but he's messed City up everytime he's played against them so I'd stick with him and Jermain. With City loading up on central midfielders it's probably best to have Wilson back in the side, with Luka getting involved as much as possible - with Bale bombing down the left ofcourse. Lennon hasn't been great in pre season but there's no way you can write him off, City's new left back won't know what's hit him if Lennon finds his game again.
