In our current predicament, I'm pretty sure Ange has to get wins in this one and Leicester. Points on the board now matter an awful lot and gives a week reprieve. Forster, Davies, and Bentancur really need to man up and propel this side to a win that sets us up with a bit more confidence for the must-win game vs Leicester.

Kulusevski could use a rest, but I'm not sure we can afford to. He's the only player with a lot of credit in the bank for his effort this season. His goal vs Everton was a peach and overshadowed by the first half shambles.

We need a win no matter the competition and so as strong as possible. Go through top 8 and we skip 2 games. That's a much needed break for this squad.
Spot on... also... we need all the positive vibes we can get at the moment... not more negativity.

Sarr has been really, really bad for some time. Hope we find a way form XI without him.

Not to be too doom & gloom but this game is not the priority. We need to beat Leicester or relegation is a genuine concern. So whatever is the most rotated side possible.

Kulu needs a rest and Maddison needs to try and find some sort of form.
I’d be resting Bergvall for the Leicester game and playing Madds here. A midfield of Bent, Sarr and Madds should be good enough. Just can’t see who plays RW to give Kulu a break. Need Richy to start against Leicester so bench and start Lankshear.

I disagree on both points and believe that if we lose on Thursday, we're more likely to lose on Sunday too - whether players are rested or not.

From here on out - the most important match of the season is whomever is up next.

I believe that we can win Europa - because we should be getting healthy as the knock-out stage gets going. And, with a healthy squad, I think we are capable of beating anyone.

So, right now - getting top-8 is still a priority to give us a little more time to heal before the knock-out stage starts.

I also think, that as the PL season moves forward, and we get healthy, we will pick up sufficient points to avoid relegation - which is really the best we can hope for in terms of league position - hence the focus on Cups and Europa.

We need to beat Hoffenheim on Thursday, and we need to beat Leicester on Sunday. And we need all hands on deck to make that happen. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, we get some players back, and maybe a new signing - and we can rotate then. Until then - we just have to play our best squad, and give it our best effort to win each match as it comes.

Of course he'll play his strongest team. Can you imagine losing to this lot? Ange wants to keep his job. Hence the strong team against Tamworth (and it was just a well).

Forster

Porro Dragusin Gray Davies

Biss Bentancur Maddison

Kulu Richy Moore

Limited options at the back so I think it picks itself - although might swap Archie and Gentle Ben.
We have to try and boss the midfield, so 2 controllers and 1 passer.
If Richi can't start then give Lankshear a go.

I think I'd leave Sonny out of the squad totally, he will probably travel as Capt, but total rest for him.

This just shows how few options we have - what a mess.

Yeh this pretty much. I’d even be tempted to go Moore—lankshear—-Richie and leave Deki on the bench. Think Maddison has had more rest than most and so has to play. We’re going to have to play kids to rest anyone else.

helpful for our potential qualification that
Very much so. Their final game is away to Ajax, another match where at least one team is guaranteed to drop points. There are a few other games remaining between teams directly above/below us (United vs Rangers, Rangers vs. Steau, Roma vs. Frankfurt), which is why I think 4 points will put us through.
