Well, he can also explain why Robson who played left back in one of the pre season games isn't registered. Club trained. The answer is blatantly because they had no clue he's in his first senior year and thought he still was U21. Certainly idiotic moves been made.
Don't know about the age thing , seems players are still counted as U21 even though they are nearly 22 so maybe he only qualifies for the B list.

Really pissed off that we didn't get Spence in the squad, especially since we're pretty light at the back already. Wondering if maybe Sarr could fill in at CB in an emergency but it still leaves us short on the flanks.

The cut off date is January 1st, so everyone born 02 or older are considered senior. Even if they are still 21.

Robson must be considered not good enough to play at a higher level , it's a big step up from U21 football and not many make it, he will be gone when his contract ends in 2025,.

Am I missing something by Regi being with the squad? Thought he wasn't on the Europa list... There to make up the training numbers?

Alfie Dorrington and Dante Cassanova there.

This is what Andy Brassell wrote about them:

“There are two interesting things here for me. One, they have a number of players who have played in the Champions League before, so that shows they have significant resources for that part of Europe. They have a nice, new stadium, this year they appointed Pascal Jansen as their coach, and he was the coach of AZ Alkmaar when they got to the semi-final of the Conference League, a really bright coach. He’s quite well known - his mum was a British pop star (Sue Chaloner). They’re ambitious, with players like Adama Traoré (Mali international) who has played in the Champions League. You’ll get a big atmosphere there as well. It’s not like playing in the national stadium, the Groupama Aréna is smaller, tighter and a bit noisier. Without getting amazing results, they’ve given big teams some difficult moments in the Champions League, so it will be interesting."

I’d never heard of her so Googled. Apparently was big in the Netherlands, although the name of the group she was in is a bit questionable

I counted 19 players in the video so not everyone was shown - I don't think I saw Udogie, Vicario, Romero, Bentancur, Son, Sarr

Looks like Ajayi has also travelled.
Only played 45 minutes yesterday, as did Gunter and Black, so wondered if they might be travelling.

Had also thought it interesting that Casanova although on the bench didn’t get on the pitch despite an early injury at CB. It seems it could have been because there was an early injury at CB and they didn’t want him playing that many minutes!

We can't be messing about too much with the line up, starts for Forster, Gray Davies, Biss, Sarr, Bergval, Werner and Moore... the rest as strong as we can.

Actually, that's messing with it quite a bit, but Romero and VDV have to play for me. Maybe Solanke and Kulusevski can get a half each.

The only one I'd be actively protecting is Udogie. (If he's even fit)

We can always bring on the (other) youngsters if things are going well. Lankshear and hopefully Dorrington get minutes (if they're fit enough)

We've actually had our fair share of injuries this season but we are coping better with a bigger/better squad.

One other point is seeing Gray get some minutes at CM at some point, when Bentancur gets his ban we'll only have Bissouma so we need to get him prepared.

If worst came to worst, Sarr could do a job as a RB but I think would struggle as a CB. Think we'll be alright for this game though, looks like Davies and Dorrington travelled and could be involved tomorrow.

Would still do absolutely no harm to register him when we have two free HG squad places.
