It would be nice to give Brennan a rest although I don't really see how we can. The midfield picks itself which is great.
I thought Romero was still banned so his availability is a lovely surprise to me.
A lot depends on how Destiny is feeling. That Radu red card has kicked us in the nuts a little bit. Given the format of the competition 2 wins from 2 puts us in a really good position. I think this format is great with far more jeopardy.

I just think because of the lack of defenders people think there is nobody else who can play there. Unless you think Dorrington makes his debut away from home in Europe?
Dorrington has only just returned from 5 months out injured and hasn't yet completed 90 mins for the U21s, so there is no chance he starts.

I'm not against that...
He's only played something like 60 minutes since his return from a long injury though, hasn't he?
No chance we throw him into this game and I think we need to go as strong as we can to start, then hopefully save some legs after smashing them in the first half.

Would like to see Bergvall start, to make up for his last chance being ruined, also would like to see Moore get at least 25 minutes this time and Lankshear getting on to give Solanke a rest.
Although Lankshear isn't long back from injury either, just not as long an injury as Dorrington.

Anyone care to give a run down of the opposition?
This is what Andy Brassell wrote about them:

“There are two interesting things here for me. One, they have a number of players who have played in the Champions League before, so that shows they have significant resources for that part of Europe. They have a nice, new stadium, this year they appointed Pascal Jansen as their coach, and he was the coach of AZ Alkmaar when they got to the semi-final of the Conference League, a really bright coach. He’s quite well known - his mum was a British pop star (Sue Chaloner). They’re ambitious, with players like Adama Traoré (Mali international) who has played in the Champions League. You’ll get a big atmosphere there as well. It’s not like playing in the national stadium, the Groupama Aréna is smaller, tighter and a bit noisier. Without getting amazing results, they’ve given big teams some difficult moments in the Champions League, so it will be interesting."

I suspect we'll go with a fairly strong team. If we win this one, then at home to AZ it'll massively takes the pressure off what are probably the two hardest fixtures in Galatasary (A) and Roma (H) which follow next.

I think that's the winner, although I'd play Gray to the left of Rom.

And get Solanke and Johnson out of there asap.

Hope the home team doesn't just sit back and play counter

Dorrington was not in U21 squad last night, so there is a chance that he gets into the first team squad for this match, probably on the bench though

Like it overall but you need to have one of Maddison or Kulusevski in the middle for creativity. I'd personally go with Bissouma, Bergvall and Kulusevski. I know Bergvall has the potential to be creative, I just think it's a lot of pressure to put on him currently. Kulusevski in for Sarr also ensures we don't lose any energy in that area of the pitch.

Can I sell tickets when you tell Ange to his face that he is an idiot . :)

Well, he can also explain why Robson who played left back in one of the pre season games isn't registered. Club trained. The answer is blatantly because they had no clue he's in his first senior year and thought he still was U21. Certainly idiotic moves been made.
