Start our under 12's. Give the FA something to think about.

They can't exactly fine us for "bringing the game in to disrepute", as they've already set the benchmark for that.

I know we perhaps have bigger fish to fry but do we really want to go out to Chelsea? I can't imagine Fat Frank fielding a weak team.

They have the luxury stronger team depth and less congested fixtures on their schedule. If all things were equal, a lot of us would want to see a strong team put out on Tuesday.

Lloris
Doherty — Toby — Foyth —Reguilon
Hojbjerg
Alli ———Ndombele
Lamela ————————- Lucas
Kane

Hart, Aurier, Dier, Davies, GLC, Sessegnon, Bergwijn

One days rest for Kane's is not a good idea. We don't need to be overloading him with minutes in a competition that has done us no favors scheduling wise, when he's currently the only fit goal scoring threat on our team.

As Jose said, the EFL took our decision to take this cup seriously out of their hands with the ridiculous scheduling. Sucks it's chelsea but after Son's hammy we can't risk any more muscle injuries.

For me Europa absolutely has to take precedent. You are probably talking about £20-30m in TV money plus potential CL qualification in this competition. Pretty much anyone who played 70 mins plus today can't start on Tuesday IMHO.

To be honest, I just want to win Europa and FA Cup, the two trophies we were renown for winning.

The PL is a stretch and it feels like we are always up against it. Qualify for CL otherwise I feel it's a step beyond and I can't be arsed with the ppl running it.

The league cup, whilst I'd like to win it, is not something that is going to keep our best players happy and we could burn a few players out if not careful.

Reserve energy for Thursday and hope we get a striker in before United.

We have to field the u23 side here.

For the ones fielding stronger sides; that's why Sonny's hamstring gave in today.

We can field Dele, Sessegnon, Gedson, Reguilon, Lamela, Hart, Sissoko and Foyth and then supplement from the U23's if needed. Those players listed need minutes to get up to speed.

We could probably put a decent enough team out against the Chavs whilst still resting players.

---------------Hart
Aurier----Toby---Foyth----Reggie
-------Sissoko---Ndombele
Lamela------Bergwjin-----Sess
---------------Dele

Whether that is good enough to win the game I have no idea.

Could maybe also put Lucas up top instead of Dele, Bergwijn out left and Dele behind the striker.

As long as nobody who started yesterdays game plays then thats OK by me . We already have Son injured in all probability due to playing too often without the proper rest period . We do not want or need to add to the injury list .
A win on Thursday is first priority and then we can look at who is fit for united .
I just wish some of our international players would get mysterious short term injuries .A la Alex Ferguson's players in his reign .
By the way to all those that have turned their nose up at signing Troy Deeney I would welcome him with open arms just as long as we dont have to flog Harry to the point of certain long term injury.

To add what I have just posted I would want Jose to play the weakest team possibly youth team players just to make the point that the fixture list is a sick joke and will I am sure cause all teams problems with injurys but ours seems the most congested of all .

I agree with this. Ignoring the scheduling I had hoped we would go all out for cups this year to win something. But something has to give and EL should be prioritized.

Tomorrow's game is an opportunity to use fringe players and youngsters, it's just a shame it's Chelsea. I don't think we need to go full protest mode and field just kids. The squads big enough to use the fringe players.

I would honestly play Dane Scarlett or Etete. Mourinho must make a statement to Levy about this procrastination in the transfer market impeding progress on the football field. There are enough experienced, capable players to choose from elsewhere in the team and who knows? the youngsters might surprise us.
