Way I see it is, no Dier means one of Vertonghen or Sanchez with Toby. Sanchez with Toby is a disaster, whereas even if haggard at least the Belgians have previous. That though gives the issue of a very one paced left side of defence with Davies and Vertonghen, whereas Cirkin is described as energetic, plus like with Tanganga the adrenaline of playing his first few games is worth an extra 10% in terms of sharpness and aggression.

Alternatively, give Sessegnon the game, but this doesn’t seem likely.

Yeah I think Sess lost his opportunity when Foyth and Tanganga went down with injuries but yeah I like what you're saying and could be a worthy experiment vs Bournemouth to see what we can do in the NLD.

I think they knew this was coming with Dier, hence giving Toby game time against Everton, while also showing Dier he’s still the main man and giving Sanchez a rest. With that in mind I think it will be:

lloris
Aurier Toby Sanchez Davies
Winks
Sissoko LoCelso
Bergwijn Kane Son

but I’d like to see:
Lloris
Aurier Toby Jan Sess/Cirkin
Winks
NDombele LoCelso
Lamela Kane Son

I am still struggling with the fact that some want Harry left out of the side .
He will score if he gets the service and occasionally score a worldy on his own .
We have no one to play in his position .And yet some want him dropped / rested its just madness to my way of thinking its like they want to drive him out of the club . The best thing to happen at our club for years is Harry Kane if he had a player that could service him with chances you would then see .
He’s had a really serious hamstring injury and there are three games in a week and muscle injuries are a huge danger. It makes total sense to play Son up top and bring him back for Arsenal.

I went Lamela as he at least looks like he wants to play for us.

He looks like he wants to play, but often does too much and runs into trouble.
But Son isn't playing well.

Rotation, Lamela should probably start and keep son fresher for the weekend.

Against Everton, Harry looked cooked. Too many 90min games back to back after an injury.

His training stats must be off, there has to be some red flags showing his fatigue?? Surely with games coming so thick and fast, he could be rested v Bournemouth? I’d rather see him ready for NLD.

I know it won’t happen, but it should. I’ve never seen him spend a whole game like that before.

Any three from Stevie B, Sonny, Lamela, Moura and evening Sess, could have a field day against Bournemouth.

There is only one way Harry gets a rest before the NLD and that's if we pull our finger out and bang in 3 or 4 quickfire goals, and then he gets taken off at HT or on the hour.
One of the main disadvantages of not scoring a few early has been that JM then leaves him on for the whole 90 in case we're in need of a goal or two.

If Ndombele doesnt start today, he is done at Spurs

My XI :

Lloris
Aurier, Toby, Sanchez, Davies
Sissoko, Lo Celso, Ndombele
Bergwijn, Kane, Son

I hope Cirkin is given few minutes in the game at the end, incase we are winning

I can see Jose giving Skipp and Cirkin starts but will rest Aurier, Sissoko and Davies for Arsenal.

Would love to see us try this.

Given our shape against Everton, a 4-3-3 seems increasingly likely but I struggle to see Ndombele starting, let alone Skipp :(
