Until the squad is addressed (which in my opinion in the current economic climate) over three further windows we will be in a situation that with regularity we will be inserting square pegs into round holes.

One of the two following things is going on -

We have a cunning plan and we are deliberately lulling Arsenal into a a false sense of security, by putting is a little effort as we can and mimicking a team that can barely string a couple of passes together, and we are convincing them that they literally only have to turn up to win, only to spring them a nasty surprise by putting in a superb performance, full of passion, energy gusto and commitment, coupled with quick tempo passing, and Kane and Son will have their shooting boots on and that will send AFTV into complete meltdown because they thought they were going to roll us over, only to be suckered by have their pants right royally pulled down : or

B. In respect of A above, we really aren't play acting at all !

To be honest I wouldn't be shocked if this was like the Utd game, we can sit in a mid-low block 4-4-2 shape as they push forward and we get plenty of chances to counter and manage to look dangerous.

The problems are when we have to be proactive and get on the front foot against the lesser cautious teams who get in behind the ball and we have to break them down with some prolonged possession. Mourinho-ball just doesn't like this.
