Lloris
Aurier Toby Sanchez Tanganga
Lo Celso Winks Ndombele
Lamela Alli Bergwijn

Subs
Gazziniga Verts Davies Skipp Sessegnon Moura Parrott

Tanganga has to play over Davies to match Traore's pace, Davies will be running through mud after Traore with his pace

Also we need a focal point under mourinho and he has to play Alli as an out and out striker or nothing

With a few extra days off hopefully Lamela will be fit. I’d go:

Lloris

Aurier—-Sanchez—-Alderweireld—Tanganga

Lo Celso —- Winks

Gedson —-Lamela——Bergwijn

Dele

Ndombele has to play - disappointing / unfit so far but he needs a run of games. We’re screwed up front but here goes...

View attachment 63704

We’re going to struggle that’s for sure.
Spot on.
Dele has to play up front or no.10, just dissolves or midfield play.
Bergwijn and Lamela to start no question.
Lucas won't necessarily need a rest after 8 days, but hasn't cemented his starting place for all of his effort. Always the impact sub.
The ideal midfield in theory, gonna be interesting to see how this plays out regarding Ndom and GLC long term, but short term i'd put Ndom behind the front three, purely on fitness terms.
Back 4 spot on. Keep Tanganga back and give Davies the free moving forward role. Aurier is still too suspect positionally and defensively.

It a shame that Parrott won’t get a spot. I think we have nothing to lose by giving him a run. I doubt we are making the top five.

Moura can’t play in the middle up front, but there’s maybe a place for him at right side forward, where he has a bit more space. I’d prefer to start Lamela there though.

Left side forward, Stevie B to start and Sess at half time. Start with Dele in the middle of a front three. Far from perfect, and if he’s Dilly Dally rather than Dele Ali then hook him and try Stevie B there.

We have to give Winks, Ndom and Lo Celso time to figure out their formation. Fecked if I can see it atm, but they have the potential to find Sess, Moura or Stevie B with some decent passing ability between them.

Wolves are pretty good, so it’s a tough game.

This. I now fear for every game. Opposition turns up, laughs at our lack of speed, presses high all game and dominates us. We don't realise/care and spend 85 mins trying to play it out from the back. The opposition either win deservedly, or we escape with a draw or even nick a victory.

............................... Lloris ...............................
Aurier... Alderweireld... Sanchez... Sessegnon
................. Lo Celso..... Winks .......................
....... Moura ......... Lamela ........ Bergwijn......
................................ Alli ................................

1st choice keeper and centre back partnership
Two quick and attack minded full backs
Lo Celso and Winks have previously played well together as the central midfield duo
Lamela - creativity linking central midfield to attack
Two wide forwards giving us balance and playing to their strengths
Alli - more than capable of playing as a striker and is at his best when he needs to be instinctive and doesn’t have to dwell on the ball

obviously wolves are gonna come at us. So I don’t think we can afford to play with 4 at the back. Keep dele as a pivot with moura and bergwijn. Playing striker for long balls forward

also I’d take Lamela in over moura. Just don’t see it happening.
