Townsend seems to be on his way out so I put him out.

Don't think Son deserves a start and Mason is probably out.

Alli to come back in with Lamela.

Lol totally forgot Dier. Then I go for your line up, just with Alli in the 10 and Mousa on the 8

Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Davies, Mason (if fit), Onomah, Eriksen, N'jie.
I'd start with that and would want to see the positional fluidity we had against spam and carrierbag.

Need Eriksen simply for his freekicks in a game like this.

You need to knick a goal anyway you can against teams that set up like a Pulis side will.

And his creativity - he has the fourth most assists in the entire league, according to Squawka, and his assists tend to come before the 70 minute mark.

West Brom have been poor at home and we should be looking to put them to the sword in the first half.

Alli is straight back in for me....so between Lamela and Son for the right sided spot. I reckon Lamela starts and Son on the bench.

Lloris

Walker
Toby
Jan
Rose

Dier
Dembele

Lamela
Alli
Eriksen

Kane

Subs: Vorm, Davies, Trippier, Carroll, Onomah, Son, Njie

(Assuming Mason is out)

Dembele got a knock today and disappeared in the 2nd half. Hope he's fit for WBA.

That's what I'd go with as well.

Son is great, but still getting used to the league and his pace and directness can do some damage off the bench.

Surprised at Son's omission from most of the teams so far. I thought he was just about our best attacker today. He had chances of his own and his dribbling and ability made space and chances for others. I would - very reluctantly - leave Alli on the bench because I really like the Kane - Erisken - Lamela - Son combo and Dier and Dembele are going nowhere despite both being a little down today on recent weeks.

Lloris
Walker - Alderweireld - Vertonghen - Rose
Dier - Dembele
Lamela - Son - Eriksen
Kane

Although they did beat Arsenal.

agree with this, dembele's generally done well wherever he's played this season but I still prefer him pushed forward. rose could do with a good game, he's not been at his best lately and could let davies back in if he's not careful.

edit: posted in this one as I felt bad it was made first and everyone's posting in the other thread :angelic:

I really like Son, and he was probably our most dangerous player today but the Dier-Dembele-Alli triminutive has been so key to our performances where we have over powered and out worked teams. And as such I'd restore that as soon as possible. And Lamela gets the nod over Son currently with the way he presses like a man possessed, added to his creativity and eye for a pass

Just watching West Brom, there strength is obviously crossing into the box for Rondon. We will need to defend set pieces well and not give cheap free kicks away next week.

We do that and there's no reason why our quality shouldn't prevail after a clear week's rest.

They're organised under Pulis but they've still got plenty of mistakes in them...we bring our A pressing game and they'll find it very tough IMO.
