Full strength? Personally I'd think about resting Kyle as he had trouble over the last year to cope with two games a week. Trippier should be fine for Monaco at home. Today Eriksen, Alli and Son made a mark for themselves, but I would like to see Dembele starting to get him some match fitness. I'd leave Alli out but that won't happen.

Subs: Vorm, Walker, Wimmer, Wanyama, Alli, Sissoko, Janssen

I'm still moist from the stoke game though tbf but I feel like Sunderland would be better for Dembele to come in and get some minutes.

Agree with all except Dembele in for Alli.

Would also give us a very strong bench

Dembele looked very rusty on international duty, I'm not sure I'd start him from the off in a CL fixture. Hopefully we can get out to a lead then bring him on in the second to shore things up and get his feet wet, then give him a start against Sunderland.

I suspect Poch won't change too much. Monaco aren't' fantastic, so I'd definitely make a couple.

Even if Dembele is rusty, the alternative is Dier and Wanyama and I never want to see that again.

While I agree that Wanyama and Dier should never play together again (except perhaps against Madrid, Barca etc. if we were to come up against them in the CL), it's not the only alternative to Dembele. Dele has been dropped back into midfield three times already, Poch obviously intends to keep playing him there.

I think Dembele should be slowly introduced off the bench so he can build touch and match fitness. It's asking a lot to chuck him straight into the middle of a CL match with only a scratchy international performance under his belt in the last month.

Why on earth are people saying Trippier should play? We're in the Champions League, not the Europa League. No players should be rested, and Poch's comments suggest he recognises that. We've got Sunderland at WHL next Sunday, that's the time where we could play the likes of Trippier, Janssen etc.

You'd rest Harry Kane for our first CL match in over 5 years? Christ.

Exactly as other have said - strongest team as this is what the best players want to experience and earned last year. Definitely Walker on large pitch. Will definitely cause them problems.

One caveat to the 'strongest' eleven is Son. I think he has to start after today's performance or it sends the wrong signals about hard work and performance. The only blot on his copy book was that awful pass to Alli who would have been 1/1 with the keeper
