Methinks JM has serious unfinished business here - he will play the strongest side possible.

I would like to see:

Gazza
Aurier - Toby - Sanchez - Verts
Dier
Sissoko - Ndomblele
Son - Kane - Alli

Winks and Moura to come on in the second half. Alli can also drop back into CM.

This is the nearest I have seen anyone choose to what I believe Jose will play. I don't think we will see Lucas start often, with Winks being used to bolster midfield when needed. JM will trust the front three to do the business and make sure the midfield is combative and strong.

Young players who have not got good EPL experience will get little opportunity to play. Maybe if all goes well they might get an FA Cup outing or perhaps some opportunity in a busy Christmas period but Jose always goes for experience

There's no way Solskjaer under pressure is going to instruct his players to sit back. We need to take advantage of the spaces by playing Lucas, especially as he didn't really feature against Bournemouth.

Anyone got any thoughts on a bar / pub to watch this in town? Soho / west end. Ideally somewhere that won't be too rammed / mental

Cheers

O’neills at the top of Carnaby Street has a big screen and wasn’t too busy when I watched us beat Stoke there in the Leicester title winning season. It was the first of our 3 MNFs in a row.

Only problem is, that it’s an o’neills!

OGS said that Pogba is ruled out. Matic and McTominay is a ‘touch and go’

My side to play United. A bit of shuffling with Dier and Vert dropping out for Winks and Rose. Son off bench. Vert in his first game in a while ended the Bournmouth game down on his haunches. Son played left wing back at times in our asymmetrical formation. Hoping that NDombele is getting fit enough to play two in a row. Should be cracking match because United will be expected to go forward allowing our swift counters to get in behind them⚽

Again; I don't think we'll see much of a change from the Bournemouth, Olympiacos and West Ham game when it comes to our line-up. We played a very good team against Bournemouth this weekend and I doubt Mourinho would wanna change that.
And again; a lot of us put teams that we want to see, never with the intention to second guess Poch, now Mourinho.

I think JM is going to play a 4-2-3- or 4-2-2-1-1 depending on how you look at Dele's position with Dele supporting Kane and Son plus probably Moura out wide. I just hope Sissoko is not one of the holding 2, but I expect to see combination of Dier, Winks and Ndombele as the 2 CM's/. The question is Vert or Rose at LB.

Would love to see GLC get at least half an hour today. Perhaps when Ndombele is exhausted after 60min.

Hopefully Matic is fit, he's as gash as Dier is but with the disadvantage of being a little bit slower.
