Hoping Mourinho ditches Lucas up front, his only use there is his leap. I'd rather Son, Parrott and Dele in that order and I think even Lamela could be of some use.

I realistically can’t see Ndombele played straight away. I will throw Bergwijn in to mix. Home crowd. He has got the better of Walker once against England. So why not.

We just lack a target man to hold the ball up front. It could be painful against City if we spend the whole game camped on the edge of our penalty box.

This team could do them some serious damage.
I think dele as false 9 is actually our best option moving forwards now, couldn’t agree with this more.

I'd quite like to see Lamela get a stint up front. Of all our forward players I think he's one who can make a nuisance of himself and hold the ball up somewhat effectively. He also loves scoring against City, so that could help.

Sanchez up front till end of a season, Jose(or someone) needs to send a proper message to Levy. Playing Moura or such as striker is just a shite compromise that doesn't deliver results under Jose yet doesn't point towards the real culprit.

Dele's the least 'sticky' of all of our forward players (and that's not saying much with Son and Moura on current form) so I don't think the Firmino role is for him.. the ball will just be bouncing to the opposition centre backs all game

No, been here or elsewhere longer than ENIC and defended Levy throughout the times, but this time there are no redeeming factors. None. If I was Jose I'd take this window as honourable way out. You hire a manager on big bucks whose game is dependant on having physical striker, yet don't give him a single one. Even Mike Ashley couldn't have done so.

Like this but I’d be inclined to swapping out Dele for Tanganga and going with 3CBs for this one.
