We have to play a back five. I don't care if it's a 532, 5221 or any other variation ..... maybe not 5212. You can throw Tanganga for Sanchez or Alli/Fernandes for Ndombele/Winks if you want. The important thing is a back five. They shit the bed against Lucas and Son up front at the Ethiad last season so I'd like us to try it again.

I'd be tempted to start Lamela as he links well with GLC.

Seriously have no clue who will be in the line up. Or i should say, how we will line up.

Given we likely won't sign a CF, then I'm guessing it'll be something like Moura, Son and Dele again, plodding around. Personally, id like to see Lamela start ahead of Dele. Getting and keeping possession will be hard enough. Can't afford to have yet another game from him where he loses the ball over 20 times, and doesn't fully commit defensively. But Jose loves him, and we have very few attacking options. So that's that.

Perhaps he'll consider three at the back again? Have Aurier and Sess as the wing backs.
