Bergwijn Son Lucas
Ndombele Winks Lo Celso
Tanganga Sanchez Toby Aurier
Lloris
Subs: Gaz, Verts, Davies, Skipp, Gedson, Dele, Parrott

We need pace on the flanks to shut down their attack. so I'm going for Tanganga over Davies.

I think Mourinho will always play not to concede at home in the CL, and as such will sacrifice a midfielder for a forward, with Moura preferred over Bergwijn for his work rate. Son has to play (6 goals in 5 games), and Dele offers greater set piece defence than Bergwijn as well as greater 'big match' experience. Mourinho will see 0-0 as a good result if we do not concede an away goal.

Lloris
Aurier Alderweireld Sanchez Tanganga
Gedson Winks Lo Celso
Moura Dele
Son

Trouble is, there’s no way this team can play for a nil nil. There will be goals Wednesday. No idea who will get the most though!

They might be missing their usual centrebacks but apparently both their fullbacks are capable centrebacks too.

The closest to this game will be how Jose set up for the Man C and Liverpool home games. Jose played for a clean sheet in both and came very close to getting one on both occasions (0-1 and 2-0). He will really underline to the players how important it is not to concede an away goal. We defended much better against Liverpool at home and I think Jose will set up up like he did for that game.

Tough one. We need to cope with the speed of Werner and I fear the worst when he comes over the left side while Serge is somewhere around the middle circle. Think we need Japhet in there to cover.

I think either Ndombele or Sessegnon. Sess on the left with Lucas up top and Bergwijn on the right. Or perhaps Ndombele where Dele is and have Dele up top with Lucas and Bergwijn on the wings.

Have to play Parrott now, I don't think any of the other players in the squad can step up and do what Son and Kane do, so we have to look at Parrott who has done it at youth level, now its time to see if he can do it for us. Massive pressure on the lad but I think he could thrive on it.

Maybe not straight away, perhaps get him on tomorrow for half hour but Saturday away to Chelsea, what better way to announce yourself than stciking it in the back of the net a few times.

We are in massive trouble now, this is like Liverpool losing Mane and Salah, not many teams can afford (except City...ironically) to lose your two best goalscorers.

Hopefully Ndombele can get fit and play now because we need him.

Gotta play Alli as a false 9 with Berg left and Mour right, nD and GLC slightly in advance of Winks. “Defence” unchanged.

Gedson on for nD between 60-70, Lamela on for whoever of the front 3 looks most fucked at 70 then Troy on for whoever looks the next most fucked forward on 80.And hope no other fucker gets injured.
