Hope Leicester win tomorrow and have a couple of players red-carded and miss our game.

Leicester will be a very tough game. They are better away from home and very dangerous on the counter. They are also strong at set pieces.

Lloris
Toby-----Sanchez
Trippier----Dier---Winks -----Rose
Moura--Eriksen--Son
Llorente
With Dier dropping into a back three when we have the ball to allow FBs to bomb on. Verts and Sissoko get a rest ahead of the CL game. Let Winks and Eriksen pull the strings in midfield, Trippier and Rose and push up and try and hit Llorente, and Moura and Son can buzz around their box looking for opportunities.

I'm surprised so many are leaving Sissoko out with Leicester's ability on the break.

When drop Hugo for a PL game then start him in CL? Hugo’s our #1 keeper and I think today. Does he have a mistake in him? Yes. Is it usually always a poor one? Yes. But he’s still a top 5 keeper in Europe, IMO.
Gazza’s distribution is not just better than Lloris’, it’s an attacking force in its own right. We need to win these games, not just avoid losing them.

That said, it’s a good dilemma to have.

I'd love to see more of Paulo, at the same time I don't want to abruptly drop Hugo. He deserves a lot of respect because of his service.
As you say, a good dilemma. I guess.

My XI :

Lloris
Aurier, Toby, Jan, Rose
Winks, Sissoko
Eriksen, Lucas, Son,
Llorente

If Kane is looking to play against Dortmuncd, then I expect Kane to be on the bench for Leicester...
I think when people are saying he'll play against Dortmund, that's in regards to the second leg. In his interviews yesterday he hasn't even started training with the ball again yet.

Bah, who cares. Three days between matches is the absolute minimum of rest, but should be acceptable to professional athletes. We are i no position to yield in the league for a wasted shot at improving the odds vs. Dortmund. I probably wouldn't mind starting Llorente if the sun isn't shining.

8 days before Leicester and 10 days after Dortmund. Pretty much no reason not to play the same team in both games, possibly Rose not up to it. And Wanyama is not even close to starting a game.

Why does Wanyama keep getting a place on the bench if he' not fit? I can't see the point. Better to give the bench place to Skipps or another youngster surely?
