I think I would go with this. Ideally I would start Ndombele over Winks but I still worry about his fitness so think Winks might be the safer bet. I would also start Lucas as he tends to turn up in CL games and he will be rested, but saying that, I wouldn't be completely adverse to starting Eriksen or Dele in his place. Lamela is a must start for me.

Too negative in the middle for me. Winks and Dier will just sit passing the ball sideways.

We need somebody who can pass and run forwards with the ball. ndombele hasn't pulled up any trees yet, but he has shown real flashes of what he can do. I would play him with Dier and put sissoko at right back. You just cannot trust Aurier at all.

I really expect Poch will go with Sissoko somewhere, and most likely in a different formation to the above anyway.
I've also argued against the idea of shunting him out to RB/RWB on here before more than once but, you know, to hell with it. We're only speculating after all. I think his steel could be useful in this match.

The flaws in the above team selection are No 1. Moura is an impact player and does not impress when he starts. No2 can Aurier be trusted not to have a brainfart ? No3 Winks has been playing out of his skin and so leaving him out makes no sense.No 4 Dele seems to be still not up to full throttle and Bayern is not a game to put an unfit player in .

From the way Poch seems to set things up, it seems as though Dele, Lamela, Winks, Son and Moura will play as there were either left out or taken off early vs Soton... and possibly Dier and/or Davies (but probably too soon for their levels of fitness). Kane will obviously play as well. So it could be something like this:

This is probably a bit too attacking for Poch's current thinking, but will be interesting to see. In all likelihood, we can probably expect to see Sissoko and Ndombele in there for Dele and Moura.

I liked Son and Kane playing up front in the palace game. We scored 4 which tends to be a rarity these days.

annoyingly i think we'll see the same failings that have annoyed us all season in that the midfield neither truely protects nor truely transitions. therefore believe we'll see Winks and Sissoko there.

i would like to see either a three (Winks, Dier, NDom). or a two, with Dier being in there to protect and collect from the back.

I like this idea. With both Winks and Ndombele in there we should have decent ball retention while Dier provides some solid defensive cover that none of our other CMs can.

Have a feeling Poch will start Aurier and put Sissoko in the middle, with Lamela and Lucas getting starts. Personally I'd prefer your lineup, though.

I've seen a few things in the last couple of days about Sissoko at RB. I'd be happy with him there with a back 3, not sure about as a permanent option in a 4.
