Assuming fitness, I'll go with:
Vicario
Porro Romero VDV Udogie
Biss
Bentancur Maddison
Johnson Solanke Son
I really wish Kulu on the right wing worked for us but doesn't seem that's the case for Ange's system. Johnson feels like a big call, but I feel in matches like this, where there should be some space and some transition moments, he could be valuable. Also would be happy with him on the bench. NLD feels to soon for Gray, Bergvall, or Odobert for me but I'm all ears to other onions.

For something off the wall that could be unexpected and effective (and would never happen I'm aware), we could go with:
Vicario
Romero Dragusin VDV
Porro Bentancur Bissouma Udogie
Maddison
Solanke Son

Like you said obviously isn't happening but it does feel like an unexpected approach to the game would increase our chances.

Your first post is what I'm expecting, albeit not sure on Kulu being dropped. But the lineup makes sense and we'd have decent options on the bench.

Controversial but Im going for Kuku over Maddison. Arsenal are physically strong all over the park and Kulu stands up to that better.

Dropping Madders to the bench for a big game is maybe what he needs, and could have a real impact coming on second half.

I know he's two assists, but he's still nowhere near top form imo.

Vicario

Porro
Romero
VDV
Udogie

Bissouma
Bentancur
Kulusevski

Johnson
Solanke
Son

Maddison has been good so far this season, I wouldn't be dropping him at all as he needs more games to get his mojo back.

I think he',s been a bit better than back end of last season, but not great....by his standards anyway.

He fades physically, very early, as well.

Anyway Its what I would do, but he'll definitely start so pretty moot really... lets hope he has a geat game.

Kulu and Madders playing behind a striker, proper wingers if we're doing Ange's style of football, Gray (or Bissouma) shielding the back four, instructions to switch play faster if bogged down. Little less suicide high line stuff unless we're really getting at them.

Youre going Kuku for Kulu? (I’ll get my coat…….)

Hopefully we have a fit striker to select from.
I know Ange focuses on us, but any opportunity to nullify Odergaard has to be taken.
I personally wouldn't start Son.
Hopefully Bentancur is back.

I fancy us to get something.

I thought Johnson did well when he came on, but should remain trying to have a similar sort of impact from the bench as of now, especially against a very defensively sound Arsenal. We may very well just need a bit more fearlessness that Odobert is more likely to provide. He may have been a bit disappointing against Newcastle, but being at home may have us see a performance more similar to that of the one against Everton, even if they are just a shit side. I can also often feel we're a bit more of a tighter unit with Bentancur over Sarr, but I think Ange will go with the latter.

Son is their nemesis. He has to start.
