With ten games in the next five weeks Forster has to play some games , good chance he will be in for this match.

Forster
Gray, Ragusin, Davies, Udogie,
Bentancur, Sarr, Maddison,
Johnson, Solanke, Werner.

Subs Vic, Deki, Biss, Bergvall, Son , Romero ?, Porro, Moore ? and U21's/18s to fill the bench for the experience.

Depending on the state of the match susbstitutions will be vital to having a good starting XI for Fulham

PS After the knock Vic got yesterday even more certain that Forster will start.
You manifested this, I blame you!

Yes , I have just altered my prediction.

With ten games in the next five weeks Forster will have to play all the games as our third choice Austin has virtually no 1st team match experience.

Forster
Porro - Dragusin - Davies - Gray
Bentancur
Deki - Sarr
Johnson - Solanke - Werner

Rest Porro against Fulham with either Gray or Spence playing at RB. The rest of the team for that game picks itself.

We should rest Sarr. Would like to see Bergval instead. He needs minutes and I think, that Roma isn‘t the strongest side we gonna face in the near future.

Forster
Porro Dragusin Davies Gray
Rodrigo
Sarr Madders
Johnson Sonny Werner

Subs: Austin, Youth Defender, Cuti, Udogie, Bissouma, Bergwall, Dekki, Big Dom, Moore.
Id like to see Gray at 6 for last 20 mins if the game allows it and Big Dom for the last 30 mins in Sonny’s place.

Forster has to play
Dragusin and Davies too
Between resting porro and udogie I think udogie needs resting more, so porro and gray at fullback (udogie on for porro at 65)
Bentancur to play 90 (no need to manage minutes)
Maddison and Sarr so we can rest kulusevski (perhaps bring him in at 65 along with bergvall)
Johnson Werner and Solanke, with son to replace Solanke at 65

that’s the ideal scenario, at least as I see it in terms of managing workload

Just in terms of the bench, the U21s have a game Friday lunchtime. Both games are at home, so players could do both, but Ange has a very un-Conte-like reluctance to disrupt the U21s unnecessarily, and our U21s are struggling this season. So unless U21s have a realistic chance of featuring against Roma, I suspect they’ll be passed over in favour of U18s. In particular U21s whom we want to sign trainee forms and trainees who we want to tie into professional contracts!

I guess Son would go up top, or Deki if needed.
Yes they can but it's a shame Will is suspended as he is a proper budding centre forward and he said he has put in extra strength work so that he can try and out muscle big centre backs.

Some Roma team news which might give some indication of how long we lose Vic for, the Belgian fractured his ankle on 15th September.

Good news for Roma who should be shortly able to rely on Alexis Saelemaekers.

The Belgian winger has been officially called up by Claudio Ranieri for Thursday night’s Europa League showdown with Tottenham Hotspur.

Saelemaekers has been out of action since Matchday 4 when he suffered a fractured ankle vs Genoa.

Our inability to bring in cover at LB and CB, along with the decision to leave Spence out of the squad makes for a very uncomfortable team selection conundrum. Especially when juggling key injuries in areas where have zero cover (striker, cb, and full back). Ange will be forced to start a lot of the lads from the weekend, as I doubt they want to fall further behind the top 8… which they can’t really afford to do, if serious about winning this trophy.
If Spence was in, Forster would be out. Austin would be starting which is pretty uncomfortable to me. Making his debut!!!
