With ten games in the next five weeks Forster has to play some games , good chance he will be in for this match.

Forster
Gray, Ragusin, Davies, Udogie,
Bentancur, Sarr, Maddison,
Johnson, Solanke, Werner.

Subs Vic, Deki, Biss, Bergvall, Son , Romero ?, Porro, Moore ? and U21's/18s to fill the bench for the experience.

Depending on the state of the match susbstitutions will be vital to having a good starting XI for Fulham

PS After the knock Vic got yesterday even more certain that Forster will start.

Gray Dragusin Davies Udogie
Bentancur Sarr Maddison
Johnson Solanke Werner

Slightly harsh on Bergvall but he should come on for Maddison at HT

Seeing as Destiny went off with a slight limp yesterday we may have to find someone to fill in at left back . Maeson King might be a possibility but he has zero 1st team experience or Porro doesn't get a break and Gray goes out on the left.

This, or maybe Sarr over Bergvall to start with, bring Bergvall on for decent minutes 2nd half.

Good bench options then. Probably see Porro for Udogie at some point.

we have Fulham next Sunday, Bournemouth on the Thursday with Chelsea on the Sunday. Will need to be as strong as possible for these games so Roma will be very much second string, apart from Drag and Ben in defence.
Forgot Lankshear is suspended after last game.

This is where the Ipswich result has cost us. We have to put a strong side out here as we can’t afford to be on the end of another gubbing like in Turkey. I think we need a result even if it’s a draw.

Vicario
Gray — Dragusin — Davies — Udogie
Bentancur
Maddison —— Sarr
Johnson ——————— Son
Solanke

Forster, Porro, Dorrington, Bissouma, Bergvall, Kulusevski, Werner, Lankshear + kids

This team but Bergvall not on until 80ish mins, this is a tough important high level game and he’s no where near that level yet, he can start against some of the lesser sides we still have to play, not Roma.

Our inability to bring in cover at LB and CB, along with the decision to leave Spence out of the squad makes for a very uncomfortable team selection conundrum. Especially when juggling key injuries in areas where have zero cover (striker, cb, and full back). Ange will be forced to start a lot of the lads from the weekend, as I doubt they want to fall further behind the top 8… which they can’t really afford to do, if serious about winning this trophy.

The trouble is, it is hard to find ‘lesser’ sides, though maybe you are referring to European sides, which I know very little about. The PL seems to have sides that can cause problems to anyone on any given day, such is the wealth of the clubs in the league.

Ironically, Roma is probably one of those "lesser sides" this season. They sit in the bottom half of Serie A, and have lost 4 of the last 5.

This is a home match though, so no traveling, and I would not be surprised to see a relatively strong squad.
