Porro
Romero
VDV
Udogie

Bentancur
Kulusevski
Maddison

Johnson
Solanke
Werner

Subs: Forster, Dragusin, Spence, Gray, Bissouma, Sarr, Bergvall, Moore Lankshear

Im assuming Son is out

I think Ange will start with Werner as Moore played the whole game tonight.
Side note - I think Werner does contribute well, works hard and can skin his man, whip in a cross and gives us good balance.

Had originally gone for Moore to start but think we should go for Werner.

We looked so well balanced at OT and he played a big part in that.

Werner will start, and I certainly hope Udogie too.

I'd consider Spence for Porro to prevent overplaying Porro. Otherwise, team picks itself.

Ah Udogie straight in then if he's fit

Porro will definitely start.

I wonder if Ange would play Dragusin over Romero to not overplay Romero or as there is an international break soon he'll just stick to Romero and VDV again.

Be amazed if he did that. Romero didnt play last thursday so fully expect same team that started at OT, with an outside chance for Mikey Moore

Spence is playing so well on both sides that it might be better to start Porro and Udogie and then see which one needs a rest and/or how the Brighton fullbacks are doing by half time / 60 mins

If Son misses this I hope we hold him out of international play.

With the wastefulness Werner is demonstrating I would honestly be happier to see Moore starting with Archie Gray to come on in that position if we need to change anything. Those two seem to have the fearlessness, skill and that touch of arrogance you need to try things off the cuff and not be bogged down with the kind of overthinking Timo is often guilty of.
Until Timo trains and trains his way out of his one-on-one-aphobia he should stay on that bench.

Werner is getting into those positioms though, and he's making things happen.

People will jump on the misses, but its clouding their judgement on how we're functioning as a team with him in it.

Same team that started at OT for me.

Agreed, he did great work in the 1st half last night to beat his man, whip in a perfect cross for Lankshear who unfortunately totally misjudged a 6 yard header that hit him on the shoulder.

Werner should have had an assist and we all know he should've had a goal too when he badly fluffed his lines trying to round the keeper when he should just take the shot on first time.

Ultimately though I'm really rooting for him and he still carries a threat that opposition teams can't ignore.

The team picks itself. Same team that beat Utd, assuming Udogie is fit which I believe he is. They're just being careful with him.

I wonder if Moore played himself into a starting role last night. He looked better than Werner I thought.

The rest of the team picks itself, fitness aside.

I would prefer Moore to start as well, but given he played the full 90, i'd assume it'll be Werner.

Please for once can we go in to an international break with 3 points. It seems like we always lose before one which sets the tone for an awful 2 weeks of SC and fretting about getting turned over by a shitty West Ham team in our next fixture.
