Wasn't this always going to happen? We've been negotiating with Lyon, not Amiens, for a reason. This doesn't change anything.

Lyon have officially taken up their offer on him. They see signing young players to long contracts as a key part of their strategy going forward. A certain monsieur houllier is an official advisor for the club btw.

It would take a massive offer to sign him. 45m+ I would think.

Interesting (if true). Lyon like to use the press to play mind games over lots of deals. So we will have to wait a bit and see what, if any, of this is true and even if it is true which of the many interested teams it is from.

If it's starting to be reported that a bid has been placed, usually they'll either verify it or say there's no truth to it

I must admit I am bewildered....... What is this bizarre propensity for people to refer to us as spuds? They say it as if its an insult, yet its probably the most immature and inane thing I've ever witnessed. Are people no longer embarrassed when they make a complete tit of themselves?

The same reason posters on here call Liverpool dippers, or Chelsea chavs I guess. It's just a cheap dig.
