He is the ideal like for like replacement for Dembele.

Strong, quick, and can glide past players.

No way Lyon sell this summer though.

Ive seen him a handful of times, very good looking prospect. Carries the ball well and very strong, could well develop into a Dembele type of player. But he is in the French league so its very hard to judge how good he would be here.

He's a really good player but Lyon just loaned him this season and have an option to buy. I can't imagine they'll be selling him already as this will only be his second season with the club upcoming. They have a really good history at holding onto players until they're absolutely ready for that huge jump. I just don't see this one at all no matter how much everyone around here may hope it happens.

I can’t remember what it was, but there was some doubt about the deal. Might have been his end. Would they even legally be allowed to sell a player the same window they buy him?

I mean I have no idea, we would need some sort of ITK to know if we could do that or not. All I know is those deals are incredibly rare so I would doubt it happens. At the end of the day I just can't see Lyon letting him get away after only one season where by all accounts he was brilliant.

If the player rejects them there isn't much they can do. Ultimately the deal is between the clubs. If the player rejects them we can easily sign him.

Considering that it's been a while since we signed N'Player and that the other part of his name is Dombele which is practically Dembele, whom we are trying to replace, I don't think we'll find better fitting player.
