Not Lankshear. He’s nowhere near ready.
Not ready really no but we saw in the EL that just having him there as a presence who occupies the opposition CBs works better than having Son or Werner as nominal drifting centre forwards.

You're being very reactive based on one game.

He is coming back from being out for months. At least give him a few games before making such a decision, and try including his form and performance in the first team before his illness.

He's had some decent performances against poor European teams but outside of that his performances against decent teams before his illness showed he's not ready to be a starter.

Our fans are overhyping him and people suggesting he should start in preference to Son are off their rocker.

Very promising kid who should continue to get experience in these kind of games but that's it for this season I think.

Werner and Moore seem to be getting in each others way so one is sure to get pulled and probably Johnson.
Deki, Bergval and Solanke to come on and get the job done.

It's concerning though mate?

And most comments are about Johnson and Werner and that's the opposite of knee jerk!

We've watched for quite some time and can see that neither are good enough for us. It's fair enough
Yep pretty disgusted with performance from both. Need to come off because they look as if they don’t give a fuck and more than a bit scared.

The right side of our team has been awful. Werner's not a centre forward so I'll be a bit more lenient with him. Inverting the full backs is yet again causing more problems than solutions. Moore is mostly receiving the ball with his back to goal at the halfway line for some reason.
Shouldn’t be playing there when we have the current PL 2 player of the year on the bench.
lankshear and dorrington should both be able to compete at this level

problem is now, if you take off Werner again without playing well all you achieve is to absolutely wipe out any confidence he might have had.
mid get Johnson off and try Werner at rw.
it was a brainless idea to start him against two great lumps who were going to sit deep. He’s not winning any balls into him, and there’s no space to exploit to run in behind.

You would think our attacking players would be relishing playing against these guys. But we are just woeful in that front third.
This is what made Kane so elite. He's relish this as a chance to "stat pad" and get his numbers up. He'd have no doubt about it. Werner and Johnson look to be too scared to mess up.

That’s really cool, considering it’s the fifth division.

There’s some fairly “big” teams in the NL these days, as in historically bigger and so have bigger fanbases than you’d expect.

Southend average over 7000 a game, Hartlepool over 3500, York over 5000, Rochdale 3000, Oldham Athletic over 5000.

Hopefully it’ll continue to grow, they’re all such important parts of their local communities.

Brennans crossing is just shocking, he side foots it like a high pass, rather than wrapping his foot around it. What do these lads do in training!

Our lot look like they are unhappy with the level of grip they’ve got on th pitch. Very tentative when changing direction or accelerating. Might be psychological, Tamworth seem fine with it.

I think the pitch is probably having a lot more impact that people aren’t taking into account with their criticism.

the bounce or movement of the ball is not the same, and nor is the grip. Players seem to be slipping a fair bit which has to impact how they approach the game and even their confidence to try certain things.

Hopefully we get it done early in the second half or it could be one very tricky.
