Id love it so much. He's a joy to watch and perfect for what we need.
Personally think we need a right winger instead of a left winger. I'd obviously take mitoma for the left but right is more pressing and i don't think we would buy two

I think he could play on either flank. His touch and dribbling ability is so good he would be just as much of a dangerous player on the right.

Adingra would be the one who would have the profile we would be after you'd imagine although very similar to Johnson in gait and style plus a bit lightweight but a right winger who's predominantly right footed so would fit our style.

Arsenal sniffing round him though which might well be why Gruda was purchased but we'll see how Hurzeler will utilise his talented wide players shortly.

Adingra nearly ended up at Marseille earlier this summer didn’t he? Think the price was £25m?

Always looked a good young player to me.

Maybe Adringa will become available now . Looks a decent player that would give us options on the right .

wishful thinking but was very impressive every time I saw him for Brighton
I saw a bit of a mixed bag if I’m honest. There were times when I thought he was unbelievable, and others where I was much less impressed. Massive talent though

He's 27 and he's only played 6 games on the right in his entire career. Would be a hell of a gamble when we could get an actual right winger

I still think the winger (if we end up with one) will be right footed (or known two-footed) to be able to keep the width, beat a man and deliver in low crosses. With Kulusevski still around I just don't think we'd end up with someone who naturally wants to cut in more often then go to the end line, unless that player can certainly keep the width.

I can see the Eze signing because you probably see if Kulusevski can adapt on the right with Johnson and Eze can cover the left as well, and he's just another top level player.

With Zubimendi rejecting Liverpool to stay, may make it easier for them to let go Kubo. Unless he believes staying is the best thing too

Think Kubo has a release clause ( yes I know 👀 )

Which could mean he’s the complicated one referred to

Would love to think we are still in for him

One of the big things for me, is that he even tries that. There is a hunger to try to progress and score. I think we sorely miss wide players who have a hunger for goal and a belief in their own ability, almost a selfishness but a selfishness with a healthy balance. You see it with Doku and now Savinho, Diaz/Jota and Salah, Martinelli/Trossard and Saka. Maybe, just maybe, we could start to see something similar with Son and Odobert.

Unfortunately though, despite how much I may think we need it, I'll be shocked if we bring in another attacker. Once we bought Odobert I heavily thought that would be it in that department.

Yeah I agree.

We won't see another added but imagine if we had Odobert and Kubo as these options on the wing.

Johnson will still have his uses but we'd at least be able to call in 2 wingers willing to take on their full backs and open space for others.

I'm still irritated we brought In Werner when we could have done this one. Yes, I know it's a permanent transfer but I think Kubo, Yang, Moore and Odobert all have huge potential, so even if one was to not work out, it's not a huge risk on terms of the spend against a free loan.

Kubo instead of Werner and we’d be nailed on for top 4 imo. Werner is very much the weak link in our winger options
