It seems this is the world cup of Sweeper Keeper and here is some crazy stats

Here is the stats for the GK's Distance Covered:
1. Maty Ryan - 270 mins - 18.5km - 6.16 km/90mins
2. Bravo - 390 mins - 23.4km - 5.4 km/90mins
3. Cillessen - 360 mins - 20.2km - 5.05 km/90 mins
4. Neuer - 480 mins - 25.7km - 4.8 km/90mins
5. Lloris - 450 mins - 23.3km - 4.66 km/90mins
6. Navas - 390 mins - 19.3km - 4.45 km/90mins

Eto vs Mexico - 7.5km

Total Distance Ran without Possession
1. Maty Ryan - 270 mins - 8.1km - 2.7km/90mins
2. Cillessen - 360 mins - 6.9km - 1.73km/90mins
3. Navas - 390 mins - 7.2km - 1.66km/90mins
4. Bravo - 390 mins - 6.8km - 1.57km/90mins
5. Neuer - 480 mins - 8.3km - 1.56km/90mins
6. Lloris - 450 mins - 7.6km - 1.52km/90mins

Now clearly Some teams have had all the possession and so keepers have hardly needed to come out but Maty Ryan's stats are crazy.

Interesting we were close to signing Ryan, looked like he had potential back then but Barca have got a their own Lloris now

It's not about how much a keeper moves but how good they are a deciding when they need to move.

In the above Lloris and Neuer are easily the two best exponents of this.

Excellent keepers, two of the best around. The only reason why Neuer is better than Lloris is that his distribution and clearances are better.
