Sell sell sell? Let's say Walker pulls a hammy against West Ham (touch wood). What then? Although his error prone and not 1st team material, his decent cover for walker.

This probs wont go down well but i prefer him to Walker and think he will come on a lot under Poch.

I like Naughton as a defender he is a solid reliable cover if unspectacular. he doesn't have the speed of walker and thus did not provide the regular overlapping.
will do very well at swansea playing every week.
I wonder if micah Richards is on the cards.

report also says rose signing a new deal.

That is how everyone has been describing our new signing Davies, so if Poch likes that then he should like KN. In other words, he should not be sold if he is suited to the managers tactics & happy to be a squad player.

Id like to see him get more of a chance, however if this relationship is leading up to us buying Bony this year... they can have him.

People say he improved at the end of the season... No he didn't, his defending was still absolutely dog shit but people just don't see it... I remember the Fulham game where Dejagah beat him on the inside with the same trick every single time and people reckoned he was man of the match... Ha ha ha.

In pre-season he has looked a bit more comfortable on the ball but he is never going to offer anything going forward and defensively is suspect. I'd rather see Fredericks given a shot because he shows glimpses of intelligent play going forward. I don't think we lose anything by giving him a chance.

Naughtons an OK back up, and he's got a decent pass, but I can't see him ever being first choice here . If he wants first team football it would be a good move for him. And considering how many decent right backs there are in this country he could end up with a few England caps if he does well elsewhere.

We have cover in Fredericks, and if we can get good money than i'd sell in a heartbeat.
Touché.
What is he now, 25? If he was good enough he would be starting ahead of walker, I'm more than happy to have Fredericks covering for RB otherwise what's the point of having such a good youth set up when no one gets a chance with the 1st IX?

I'm not a Naughton fan and while I recognize that as a back up left back he is not the answer I have also seen in his three 45 minute cameos under Mauricio that he's much improved and more intelligent that Walker when playing on the right.

I dont think we'll actually sell, as he's english and will help us meet our home grown quota- good pro - useful as back up and should get enough games in cups and EL this season
