We can confirm that Wilson Odobert underwent surgery to his right hamstring yesterday (Saturday 16 November).

The 19-year-old will continue to be closely monitored by our medical team to determine when he can return to training.

Poor kid.

Must be tough to have an injury that could be career threatening at the age of just 19. He’ll know the Sessegnon story as well as us. So he’ll have his worries.

I wish him well.

The work load is to much on players now

Chatting to a recently retired player he said they play to many games and the games just so fast now.

Ah yes, but why listen to the players? It’s not like they like to play football. They must be making this stuff up so people feel sorry for them.

I say we get rid of the summer break and make them play all year round. That’ll toughen them up a bit.
