I agree, though not quite anyone.

There are a handful of players that will be sold quite easily or released.

The rest we have to be open to offers. We don't get to choose who we get offers for.

For our attacking options Werner will be released and unless the club are high on Solomon I believe he goes too. We want to upgrade in this position so have to be open to offers for Richarlison, Johnson and Son.
I think we're mad if we don't bring him back in. We need a good, creative attacker from that left flank, now that Sonny is past his best. I don't think Tel is that guy.

I genuinely think anyone and everyone. Mickey aside, I think every position in the squad is upgradeable. And even then, if someone slapped £80m down for him then you'd have consider that.

Getting champs league obviously can change who we may be able to get but just with regards to premier League competition for transfers, we are just one of six clubs looking to improve our squads for champs league.... Won't be that straightforward.

Surely possible incomings may still see us finishing 17th very negatively compared to our PL champs league rivals

Really ? I’ve never watched Ganacho performance and seen a top player. He has phases during the game.

love hearing different perspectives though.
phases during the game is fine for a player his age, he has the attributes and shows flashes of what he's capable of but currently it's disjointed. he could put it all together and become a top player or he could just be forever flawed, it's a risk but the potential is there. his wow moments are enough for me to at least be intrigued by the possibility of signing him. what he has is pace, directness and ability to strike the ball(watch his goal vs brentford recently), what he lacks is composure and a bit of know how in certain situations. a good coach could do wonders for him.

Unless Solomon is at a much better level than I think then I think Son calling it a day is about the only way I can see him staying.

I think some of the youngsters like Gray and Bergvall will be off limits as no huge offers will be coming in for them at this stage.

Add Cardoso, Damsgaard, Modric to Bergvall and Bentancur.

That's a midfield.
I could see him having a real breakout season next year. All his game is missing is goals. He's one of those players that either you take a gamble on now or you miss out, as if he were to start scoring, then Europe's elite will be after him.

Sending them on loan has no impact on that.
Not true. Players have to spend three years at the club before the end of the season during which they turn 21 to become club homegrown. For players like these we're signing at age 18, they have to stay at the club for 3 years without being loaned to gain that status.

I think likely: Eze, Cardoso, AN other + wonderkid from a league none of us watch

Would like us to compete for and sign three of: Mbeumo, Cherki, Guehi, De Paul, Hato, Mainoo, Hincapie, Scott, Modric

Let's hope we take this seriously. Surgery required.

We were in for him whilst he was at Sampdoria - maybe around the Euros?

Yes, but to fair to our recruitment department, I think he'd have been a poor signing back then. To be the player he's been this season, I think he needed a couple of years of regular first team football.

Makes literally no difference to us these days, since you play two teams from every pot (including your own) anyway
Makes some difference when it comes to getting the home vs away.
Worser the pot difficult grade of opposition and chances of getting to KOs

No. It doesn't affect who you draw in any way whatsoever now. Everyone plays two teams from Pot 1, 2 teams from Pot 2, 2 teams from Pot 3, and 2 teams from Pot 4, regardless of which pot they themselves are in.
