Pretty self explanatory.

The window is done with so who do you think did the best business overall?

I have bias for ourselves of course but I liked some of what Everton did. They still appear to be a bit scattershot with their business (some good some bad) but I quite liked the additions of Kean and Gbamin.

I'll tell you when the seasons over, but in my opinion the answer doesn't rhyme with Farcenal.

As much as it pains me to say it, i think West Ham did pretty well.

They took a chance on a striker who did well in Germany last year and stumped up the cash.
Got rid of Arnie who is just poison.
Fornals looks a very tidy player.
Held on to Rice, Diop and Anderson.
Yarmolenko is now fit.

Everton were a little hit and miss for me.

Delph adds experience and strength.
Kean is a talent and could bang in the goals plus Gomes was a nice signing at the price they got.
Iwobi kinda tainted their window at his price, but he adds energy to their attack with Richarlson and Kean.
Plus Gueye is a loss for them.

Arsenal lost Ramsey and their best CB. But did bring in some decent players. Think 72m spent on Pepe would have better on a CB and he is a huge gamble in an area they didn't really need much strengthening.

Leicester and Bournemouth also did pretty well, looking forward to seeing how Lloyd Kelly does in the premier, looks a real prospect.

Overall we are definitely up their with our window, massively strengthened the CM area which we were crying out for and hopefully will hold on to Toby and Rose as well.

The good thing for once with us is that we actually spent the majority on 2 very very good players likely to improve our starting 11(ok Lo Celso is a loan but will be 55m) and got two prospects at very decent prices. Instead of spreading that outlay out over 5/6 players.

True and that is what we need to keep doing. Big name signings along with youngsters

Yeah I think we've done well. We spent big money but the players were worth it IMO. I'd rather us spend big on 2 quality players than buy 5 or 6 average ones

Better asking at the end of the season as we have no idea how the players will turn out yet.

True, but on paper at least Ndombele in particular is exactly what we needed. I think it'll be a bigger surprise if he's a flop than a hit to be honest. As you say though, time will tell.

Should also add a lot of it depends on whether we keep everyone. If we can hang on to Eriksen, Toby, Verts even based on whatever the fuck happened yesterday, then we've had one of the best windows I can remember. If Eriksen and one of Toby or Jan leave now though then we've sort of fixed one problem but created another at this stage.
