U16 left footed CB, Jake Evans has today left the club after not being offered a scholarship.

Spurs confirming their scholarships far earlier than in previous years likely for two reasons

1) To avoid situations like losing England youth internationals Jayden Meghoma & Sam Amo-Ameyaw to Southampton

2) To allow those moving on the most time to trial at other clubs and secure their scholarship.

Any surprises in there for you?
The majority of those are new names to me, so it wouldn't be interesting to get your opinion on them.
Although I understand that it's far too early to make any predictions on them and how they'll progress, just more interested in the type of players they are.

Only 17 years old and already better than Alderweireld and the kid from Home Alone, who really knows how to set up a defence.

Josh Keely will never be home grown he joined us at 19?
My understanding is that he would have qualified but for the loans. I suspect we could find ourselves in the same position with Bergvall, who looks like he’s going to need some loans to progress. Still useful for the association trained quota though (unless loaned abroad!).

No, Keely was already too old to qualify when he signed.

He played the other day.
He's been working is way back from a long lay off but he did make at least one of his trademark runs up the pitch.

Edit. Against Middlesbrough. It took a while for my decrepit brain to remember who we played!
