I wish it was as simple as that mate, it just isn’t sadly.
He is 25yrs old . Whats the point . Only they know why they offered him a 5 yr contract. He’s got Keeley and Gunter coming up behind him. No doubt Gunter will eventually go on loan , as Keeley is now. In a perfect world Forster would be 3rd choice and we buy another kpr in the summer.
Must be related to Daniel, same as that bloke who wanders around by the bench with a bald head. Rumour has it., Levy’s brother in law.

As I keep saying, maybe he's not being kept with a view to play, maybe he's being kept as a decent and professional member of the goalkeeping team.
Maybe he's really good on the training ground and it's not like we're paying him a fortune.

Lovely bit of play in the box by Akhamrich to get his hat-trick.

Reminds me of Steve Harper, who was Newcastle's club back up keeper for most of his career. 5 seasons (same as Austin is in now) went by without him getting any game before he finally was needed.
Big difference is that he went on 6 separate loans from 20yrs old. Austin went USA and Denmark 5 yrs ago.
He really should have had a lower league loan during the last 5 years. Nobody knows if he is any good or not. If Ange rated him I think he would have had a start by now.

Of course the coaching staff will know.

Why do you think he hasn't had any loans?

What are your thoughts on why we keep Austin and Whiteman around mate?
Feels like they're coming in for some stick at the moment but I think they are purely here to serve a purpose.

Another snippet from the family friends of the Williams-Barnet family who sit behind me at the ground: Luca is still at school and his parents had to ask permission for him to travel with the squad to Galatasaray; he was supposed to be doing an exam that day; the school decided that his career prospects would be better served by going to Turkey than doing the exam.

I'd say they were there to bulk the squad out, make training competitive, and be back up to the back up's. Nearly every squad has journey men keepers.
