I think there is quite often a gap between match going fans and online ones. Online ones seem to do a lot more analysing and end up focusing on minute things.

They lost their AM (Madsen) to QPR too, so it makes a lot of sense. They also lost their best striker (Stassin) and didn't replace him, so sending Lankshear their wouldn't be the worst idea, unless we see him getting a decent amount of 1st team football here.

Don't understand it personally. I would have preferred him to stay and be in the Europa League squad. IMO the most naturally suited no.10 we have after Maddison.
Yes Kulusevski is playing there but he will play a lot at RW as well. Gray and Bergval aren't no.10's
The other issue is, history tells Maddison will get injured this season

Bergvall will get the back up 10 gig along with Kulu. Think 1 final loan season for devine is best for all concerned then we either add him to the squad or sell him

if devine is to make it with us or at pl level then it will be as a cm imo, not a #10. hopefully that's where he'll play on this loan.

Bergvall isnt a number 10, more of an 8. A Moussa Dembele from what I have seen than a Maddison

Dembele was a 10 before joining us plus teenages in the 8 position are few and far between particularly in the big leagues
