Football is a funny old game. Tyrese Hall has always been the hyped CM from our own ranks and George was always seen as a bit of a utility player, however his loan is being very successful so far and on top of his excellent goals, apparently his all round play has been outstanding.

It just goes to show that’s it’s difficult to predict how a youngsters fortunes will go. Hall has loads of time on his hands but must be scratching his head when he sees Jamie and George doing so well on loan.

He seems a super versatile player as well. I'm sure it won't be easy for him but would thrilled for him if he broke through to the first team.

tyrese just needs to get stronger, that's the crux of it right now. he has a lot of ability but it's not much use if he's just going to get pushed off the ball. he also takes a lot of risks, lower league clubs will take on a work in progress but they can't afford a player who might be a liability. george is a better all-rounder and more adaptable, not as eye-catching but does most things to a good level and has few weaknesses. tyrese does some things to a very high level but other areas still need work. i'd like to see him go out on loan but i'm just not sure where would be a good fit for him.

Becoming a fans favourite…..

top drawer finish
Break the club transfer record quick lol

Great start and it sounds like Abbotts scored another goal of the season contender?

Let's hope Spurs appreciate how well he is doing with us and we are able to keep hold of him until the end of the season. He is getting better and better game on game.

Abbott has been outstanding for us but that goal was quite simply ridiculous 😳

How good is Abbott? I knew he get even better as the season went on but he is hitting some levels now.

George Abbot what a player, what a goal - volley from a corner - just awesome!

Can't remember a truer striker of the ball thna him in recent times (not ignoring all the other stuff he does)!

Great goal from Abbott far beyond League Two standard.

completely comfortable victory including some brilliant performances not least from Abbott who has just scored another goal of the season winner...the chap is just amazing..

Didzy and Abbott star men

Freeze the film on the exact point of impact. It was still a volley (direct from a corner!) of course, but he let it drop so low it took amazing timing, technique and body control to hit that ball dropping from the side into the opposing corner. Such a difficult skill.

Not only did he time his run to perfection, he kept his eye on the ball and connected perfectly. George Abbott might even have the top three places in our 'goal of the season' competition when you add the one at Peterborough.

Stick him in the championship next season. Always comes across quite intelligent as well

I was chatting with my Brother in Law today. He knows the youth circuit fairly well and was saying that in the last 6 months he's heard about a lot of top youth coaches moving to Spurs. Sounds like we've been making a real push to improve that area.
