Olusesi adds a 5th in stoppage time dribbling past the keeper and slotting home from a tight angle

FT 5-1. Great result and fully deserved the win. Brentford going down to ten at 2-1 did make things a bit easier for us but a deserved win regardless.

I'm glad that he got his debut and it kind of made me wonder....what are the circumstances that Ange will play a youth academy player?

Is Ange a "wait until we're 3-0 up" or a "throw them in the fire and see how they cope" type? Anyone got any idea from his previous clubs
I believe he is a "earn your chance in training then I will use you to benefit the team" type, rather than just chucking them in for the sake of it. I know he brought on Donley in injury time, so on the face of it it looks like it was just to get him on the pitch for experience, but he has done the same with PEH twice.

Quote from him at Celtic:
“Having players who were brought up with this club is important. I mean, you just have to look at our captain. It’s not just for Callum, it’s for our supporters. To know that one of their own has gone from the terraces to on the pitch.

“It’s definitely something I want to do but we’re not just going to give away appearances. They’ve got to earn it.

“The first half of the year, some of them have been given it probably earlier [than they would have]. That’s the reality of our situation with injuries, but that doesn’t dismiss the fact that they’ve had the opportunity.

“It’s certainly something I’d like to do. It’s important, it’s a priority, that we keep developing our own players.”

Thought Josh Onomah was going to sign for Stoke. It appears that he hasn’t and has not had a club so far this season,
Cannot believe that no club wants him, more likely he wants too much money.
Careers just dwindle away if they don’t play. Or are they too used to being well looked after that the thought of lower div football does not appeal.

Onomah's been in the Champ before. It could be a variety of reasons really. Life's tough down there for sure, though.

Tashan Oakley-Booth and Luke Amos also without clubs, as well as Jamie Bowden and Kallum Cesay from last summer’s releases.

I am sure there are worse players earning a living.

Anyone able to pick them all out? I think I saw Santiago shooting and setting up Donley. Was it Dorrington with the attempted bicycle kick? Soonsup-Bell? Don't know them all well enough to know.

Donley with the bicycle kick. Dorrington, BLF, Robson, Santiago, Craig are the other U21 players involved.

1-0 up. Morgan.

Edit: appears to have changed to Olusesi.
