How about getting Michael Emenalo? Chelsea has a great youth system - seem to churn out premier league standard players
He won't be coming here whilst we have Jose.

Just thinking out loud here because it's late but...
With the finances in football taking a big hit because of the Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdown, can we be expecting a lot of teams to turn to their youth, as opposed to the transfer market?
I would have thought that a fair few clubs are going to have to tighten their belts and it might just be what the game needs.
Less big money signings and more chances being given to academy players.
Could it change football for the better?

Do not think we will see this at the very top level of football but in the leagues below this could happen and it might be a good thing for our game in the long run by giving a few youth players more game time and more opportunities.

I think nobody posted about this tournament. In December last year, our U14 went to play ICC future tournament.

We played 3 matches 1w 2L

This was the squad for our 3rd matches vs NY Red Bulls

Interesting reports on KWP.

Apparently he never knew why he wasn't in the team after his MoM performances.

I often defended Poch and his treatment of KWP but this I don't like. If the player doesn't know why he's been dropped how can be improve

I’m sure skipp was in the same situation as well

If he was, and you're probably correct, that could be evidence for why they haven't progressed as much as they might of.
If a player is not ready, you tell them so and explain where they need to improve.

People have criticized JM for his approach to Parrott but at the very least the boy knows where he stands and what he must do. Putting in a MoM performance on your debut is one thing but not being told why you're dropped is something else completely

I didn’t realise Will Miller had retired because of injury.

That's weird, I was only just checking up on him early today. I had no idea he had even been seriously injured let alone had to retire because of it.
