The standard of play in MLS is continually improving, and if he does well there is a good chance he'll get a move to one of the better clubs in a european league. For example, Alphoso Davies went from Vancouver to Bayern, and we all saw what he can do when we played them in Munich.Especially to join a duff team in a duff league. Doesn't really make any sense to me.
Yeah, Canada's nice by all accounts but it's hardly the place for a youth international to go and make his name.
Seems like a lack of real ambition, surely he'd learn more and improve more in a decent league?
